    thanks for your kind wishes!

she's fine, had Christmas in special care but came home 3 weeks ago and is doing great. Just wish I had more time, with looking after her and a 2 year old ball of energy!

Keep at it though, it's worth persevering to pick up a relatively easy 30 points!

It makes it more of a challenge when you are studying with other commitments. I say that as a self-employed mother of two, with another baby on the way, and I've already signed up for another course to start when this one ends. Am I mad? :D
Here I go again on my own....
  • I do agree that the questions were perhaps easier or appeared so than I expected but then I reminded myself that it is level 1 no previous experience required. I'm sure the ECA will be more of a challenge, and I'm ceryainly enjoying the text book.

I think it helps that I actually work in Citizenship Education as a resource writer/project manager, and we are just about to expand our work into the field of economic citizenship - the basics in this course have helped me get to grips with the sort of things we should be ocvering for the 14-19 market! that said I plan to do the two other economics courses............OH MY DAYS!!! :)

Well after doing the first part of the assignment last weekend i eventually got around to finishing the rest last night and again submitted it electronically at 11:49pm:eek:

Think this forum is getting to me though - when I did the loan, storecard, overdraft calculations and had to compare, I really felt like adding on the end that the cheapest way would be to finance it on a 0% credit card and pay off asap, then transfer any remaining balance onto another one.:D :D:D but I didn't:D :D:D .

Looks like TMA03 is along the same lines:rolleyes:

Elantan - I know what you mean by feeling hacked off with the studying at present, I feel like that sometimes but If I gave up now I would have wasted so much time that I had already put into other courses.
Have a word with your tutor, they may be able to help motivate you again.

    Good Luck everyone

yes she was 6 and a half weeks early, called Rose and is our little miracle as we were given a 5% chance of her living. She has already main local newspaper's front page and tv news, bless her.

Sorry to take the thread off track!

    I don't, hence the 1 week extension!
  • For anyone who's thinking of doing DB123, they've brought the next presentation forward from November to May (due to 'popular demand'!).
  • I'm doing this in May, I'm using it to bridge the gap between DD100 and D218. I'm also doing A172 alongside it.
