Having both played the game, and seen the film, I couldnt agree more. The two are genuinely incomparable, and I implore anyone who reads this to stay WELL clear of the film. Seriously.

No, i'm simply saying that a 14yr old shouldn't be playing Black Ops.. Serbian film is out in the UK and rated 18 (with 4 mins+ cuts), the game is also rated 18 so kindly explain the difference between a child playing the game and watching the film.

Black ops got approved with 18 on first go, and frankly I'd question the strictness.

A Serbian Film had to have cuts before bbfc would let it be sold, suggesting to me that what was eventually released was the absolute maximum they would tolerate.

If you can't see the difference you have a very black and white view of the world.

It's not really up to you question that though is it? The BBFC have marked both as an 18 rating, I have both played the game, and seen the film and (obviously) i can see the difference. The point of my conversation is whether Black Ops is suitable for a 14 year old, which it clearly isn't!

I was told today by a game fanatic that ALL shooting games are now automatically rated 18 regardless of the graphic(or not) content.

Forgot the film you're comparing it to, just explain to me why it's not suitable for my son.
