hello everyone
a few poorlies it seems - take it easy - you know who you are!! I think I'm including myself amongst them; still not great.. Think it's impending AF but as always find myself hoping it's not
On the positive (and back to being Pollyanna!) - I have managed HHC in the RoD!!!!:T:eek::T:eek::T 2 bins bags of rubbish *fling* and a few things waiting for ebeast or freecycle etc. Feel much more positive about it. I have decided that we need some cupboards in there, to maximise storage, and will spend some time tonight looking online for January bargains (I live in hope!)
We've had a sprinkling of snow, and it's pretty chilly again. Off to cook dinner..
onestep xWhen people show you who they are, believe them the first time0 -
Evening all,
Just been into town with a couple of friends and ran into LadyL in starbucks. Was lovely to see her, and she seemed a bit perkier as she's just had the good news that her DS is coming home for Christmas and he's cooking! Was lovely to see her, and I also received sympathy for my finger.
It's snowing here now, so got back just in time I think. Just had dinner - pasta with garlic & herb cream cheese, spinach and veggie bacon - nom nom.
Ghost Whisperer is on in a minute, so just going to do a bit of fluttering - helping Moon empty and reload DW. I've a cracking headache - maybe I shouldn't have had that coffee!
Well I'm off to fly.
Hugs to all who need or want them, and hi to LadyL if you're reading this. Let me know if you need anything tomorrow wiv MrL away (if he makes it on the train) - cuddles to the puddies too.

Gotnodosh sorry to hear that, I'm sure you'll think of your own way to say goodbye and pay your respects!
Helen jelly well done!!
G&B how are you? How's the bravest LO doing?!
A fluffy hug and a large shoulder for Mr and Mrs LW how very upsettingmy thoughts are with you both x!
Vanilla I hope you told the health visitor Rhys also can't read books yet so doesn't know how big he should be, surely if his weight and height are gaining in equal proportion that all they should be worried about? Oh and they sell fireworks this time of year for your OH, stick one up his a*se from me!
Pollybear hope you start to feel better soon x
KazM welcome home, bet you're pleased to have him home, littleM will be too I am sure x!
Mudders pleased you and DS are on the mend. Comments like that are so funny, I usually end up saying 'No sh*t sherlock' or similar!!
We've had a little snow this morning then this afternoon after most of it had melted the temperature dropped like a lead balloon! We're trying to economise on costs here so DP put the heating onto timer for 3 hours a day (split am and pm) well it went off 2.5 hours ago .... when he went to work.... now it's freezing brrrr! I was in school 2 hours sorting kids party out & in that short time ( considering it was 3 degrees when I got out of the car) my doors had frozen shut. So tonight will be hot water bottles & extra blankets!
Spent the morning decluttering more stuff, 2 TVs spoken for to be taken tomorrow, huge amount of cardboard & plastic recycling I managed to get the council guys to take after collecting more up from furniture builds, packaging in the kithen etc ( yes they came) 3 large boxes of carboot possibles into garage which can be sorted on a warmer day & other general waste cleared out. Actually feeling quite positive about the amount we're managing to get done even if the house still looks a mess it's going to need to get a little worse before it gets better! The boys are being very good about parting with things which has never happened before, I think when mean Mammy reduced their storage for toys other than Lego telling them unless there was room once they had sorted out they wouldn't be able to ask for more for Christmas than will fit .... It helpedso they're helping and prioritising. We've done about 22 boxes of stuff so far including books and toys, but still quite a lot to go including another large bookcase full of books .... Then 6 sacks of clothes to sort. After all that is sorted the toy/play room will be finished!!!!! Oh and at the minute it'll also be an emergency bedroom incase my mother needs to stay when weather is bad, her being in living room was awkward.!
Best go, I've got them sorting another box at the minute each and I promised hot chocolate if they get it doneOne day I might be more organised...........
