Hi All,

Hugs to Mr & Mrs LW, Vanilla, Valli & Helen(thinking of you all), glad to hear the rest of the (temporarily)poorlies are feeling better!

Have so far:

Unloaded & reloaded DW
Washing up
Dinner in SC (prep tidied & cleaned)
CV out to 2 agencies + 1 freind that is recommending me for sthng (Also forwarded it to the MD of a company I used deal with who had requested ( via my (ex)boss) that I do so. Another application in progress...
Several phone calls de-cluttered
Door knobs polished
Polish spilt on CREAM curtains
Curtains soaking in ACE in the bath atm
think there should be more, but can't think right now....

Hope I haven't missed anyone....hugs spoons & sticks are here if I have, - help yourselves as required.

Right, - off to change the bedding....

Am just back from DD2's award ceremony for the GCSE's. School had told her that she was nominated for an award.... but she didn't find out until she got there that she got an award for 6 As in her GCSE's, an subject award for DT, and merit awards for DT, RE and Geography!

I am one very proud mum!

The same school didn't nominate DD1 for any awards despite her doing her GCSE's with ME:mad::mad::mad:.

I think when DD2 leaves i will ask if i can make an award for achievement in the face of adversity!

I haven't started today as I braved the snow to do a bit of shopping. I couldn't got my car back home but DH rescued me and DS1 .

Our bedroom is full of bags from online shopping which need sorting asap so I am adding it to my list.

vanilla huge, huge hugs, I think something happens to men at this time of year. Mine is in bed too after lighting the fire and waving a dirty mop around the kitchen floor.

Thursday - Master messroom! and landing
Level one
Strip the bedding and get it washed!
30 minutes floordrobe/junk clearing!!
Level Two
Vacuum the mattress, landing and floor
Remake the bed
Clean the windows
Level Three
Wash any curtains/etc that are in need
Wipe down all the furry paintwork
Fill a binbag for charity shop or the bin!

Extras

1. HHI
2. Collect all the dirty laundry from upstairs
3. Clean out any pets/wash pet bedding
4. binbag dance.

Friday -finale!
Level One
S&S the kitchen and bathroom
Change and dirty bedding that needs it!
Level Two
Vacuum through the rooms that need it
Wash any grimy windows
Collect any stinky laundry from about the place
Level Three
Clean the oven and hob
Clean out the fridge
Clear out a grotty cupboard!
Extras

1. Final final shopping lists
2. Update remaining present lists
3. Wrap remaining presents
4. Deliver presents that you need to before christmas

Tuesday - living room, hallway, stairs

Vacuum the stairs and hallway and living room
Level three
Wipe the sofas and wash any skanky soft furnishings
Wipe the paintwork in the hallway and up the stairs.

1. Check the smoke alarms

Wednesday - KITCHEN!!
Level one
Wipe the cupboards and appliances!
HHC in a RoD
Level Two
Wipe the light fittings and window sills
Wipe the fridge!
Level Three
Remove webs and dusty corners!
Sweep and mop the floor!
Clean the cooker and hob!
Extras

1. Clean filters and drawers and door seals
2. Polish any mirrors

Just had an email to say the freegal people have a flat tire so won't be coming until later (waiting on Kwik Fit) so I'm going to run to Asda now. DD isn't back until 5.30ish so I should have time to stash stuff as well Right, got to run.

School run done and poped into the butchers as well, so some fresh meat in. Feel abit more prepared for the snow coming.

It's really trying to snow here and we've had a wee bit off and on all day. School have said they will probably be closed tomorrow but to keep an eye on the website.

Right back to the kitchen, boys have bb tonight (need to ring and see if DD club is on) and i need to post a letter. I really should write the rest of my christmas cards and post them later but i'll see how i go.

Well the day didn't get any better. Got a phonecall after zumba to say that KH's grandad died this morning. He was 87 and not well and it wasn't really a shock but still really sad as he was a lovely man. I don't think I will be able to go to the funeral. He lived in Doncaster which is over 200 miles from here. And if its next week I don't think I can afford it anyway.

Think I am going to have a bath now, drop DD off for her sleepover and get ready for Scissor Sisters tonight.

Sounds like today has been a bad day for a lot of people so hugs all round!

Vanilla *sigh* sometimes you could happily dot men on the nose, couldn't you? Coping vibes for you.

PenPen There's never a good time for redundancy, but right before Xmas is a real bummer. And it seems that email is the preferred method of telling people these days - seems cowardly imho, like they can't bear to look the soon-to-be-laid-off employee in the eyes.

I've done a little S&S-ing, but I keep coming over really shaky. I do wish I dealt with stress better than I do.

Still, Mr LW is back at work today - they let him have yesterday as Compassionate Leave - he's phoned me 3 times during the day, and he seems to be OK. I think being busy is helping him.

Sidney has decluttered all the food in his bowl:T he has to have 3/4 of a tin twice daily, but he never eats it all up at once. I'm taking the view that as long as he eats it eventually, ie before the next lot is due to be served up, he's OK, and he seems to be doing well on it. He's curled up on the sofa (again!!) right now. He goes home on Monday.
