In the last hour i have decluttered the livingroom and wet wiped the fireplace, tv stand and nest of tables (it's only a small livingroom). Still need to wash sofa, wipe window sills and give the carpet a real good hoover and then at least one room will be ok.

    Valli big hugs.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

  • Lamewolf both you and Mr L take it easy. Housework can wait, it just doesnt matter at the end of the day as other things take priority. Dont stress about sis 2, she obviously is a bleep if she didnt want family to know about sis 1, take each day as it comes and look after yourself and Mr L and Sidney first then think about anyone else.

Polly well done on the marzipanning - DS1 needs to do ours on the weekend

Lamewolf - sending peace for Mr LW sis and coping vibes to all of you. Life really is too short for bad feeling and housework. Take care of yourself and rest so that you can provide the support the Mr LW will need

Greenbee hope you feel better soon

Not too busy in town but mad in Mr M - you can cash your receipts in now so guess that is why.

Just having a little break and then off to defrost the freezer, then put the bathtowels (which I'll use for mopping up) in the wm

thanks BUT I'm fine, honestly. I've had this pain (very infrequently) for about 3/4 years so not stressing - got the bins out this morning so no harm done (I put both of mine out becuase it is a 'black' days really but after the bad weather it appears it was a green day after all. This is good, as that was the one that was full. Mind you I have LOTS more cardboard now.

Checked Thornotn order - a like for like swap on a bag of continiental (got viennese instaed of chocolate riche) so I can tick a few people of my pressie list now (well I will when i have written it!)

got a smaller box os something else and and extra box (melts) to make up for it) so just going to verify prices and check. Works out that each item has cost me 37% of RRP :D:D:D:D:D
DD is going to buy soem off me for her gifts. She's paying me what it cost me (fair enough).

then I suppose I ought o start cleaning

aplos for typs - sorry CBA :rotfl:

    oh it's snowing:eek:

But i have sorted through all the clothes. Dumped all the kids stuff in they rooms ready for them to put away.
I'm ashamed to say that i shot loads of stuff out. Could not believe how pitted it was. Now it os done yay! The bed is all nicely striaghtened with two extra blankets ready for me to jump into tonight.

All the bedrooms have been hoovered and are quite clean, i,e toys dumped under the bed but at leats the floors clear.

Just had lunch and now a much deserved cuppa is in order.

Big hugs to vanilla, Lamewolf and valli. Glad you're on the mend pollybear and nikki.

I'm nearly back to normal too....yeahhhhhhhhhh! Hardly coughing at all now, voice more or less back to normal and I can now move without too much pain in my back. Can't quite bend down yet but that'll come so.....a week behind schedule but I've suddenly come over all christmassy! About time too! Yeahhhhh!!!!

Managed to work today and have a full day tomorrow and Saturday to make up for those I had to cancel. DS still off school but on the antibiotics now and 24 hours in there is definitely an improvement. I loved it when we took him to docs yesterday and the doctor said 'oh, he doesn't look very well does he?' Well, that is why we took him!!!

Right, no time for lists this late in the week so i'm going to start with a 10 minute challenge until 3 0'clock to break myself in gently.

    Hugs to all xx
