  • Good afternoon  Hugs for Lame Wolf and Vanilla - sod the housework and take care of yourselves :)

Bad news - (almost) everyone at our organisation will be sent notice of redundancy tomorrow ............. by e-mail, so that's nice *roll eyes smilie* I'm lucky that we don;t need my income to keep a roof over our heads, but it's carp for everyone who does, and everyone who needs our service

Good news - I'm on holiday for nearly 3 weeks :j I braved the supermarket (woman on the checkout said it had quietened down  ) and am now shattered :o I'm going to get tea going, then make a cuppa and have some lunch :)

Ooooh, and our choir is singing tonight, then we're all off to the pub

Cor it's gone all dark, just had to get up and put the light on as I couldn't see the key board

    very productive day so far
    I have....
walked to the post office and posted last 2 parcels and cards
Driven to the other side of Hereford to a fab farm shop to buy a piece of beef for Christmas day, it was an hour there and an hour back but the sun was shining on and off and I had my music on in the car. I had a lovely mooch and had lunch in the cafe, delicious jacket potato with coleslaw and salad and a pot of tea for just over a fiver! Bargain!! Got a few Christmassy bits while I was there as well so that's good. Got home, walked down the street for some bottles of wine (going to a party tonight) and am now sitting down with a cuppa before finish my cards for school (going in tomorrow, last day) and then I am popping to Aldi for a couple of boxes of shortbread for colleagues. Then I may do a few bits of wrapping!!!

Hugs spoons and kisses to all who may need them

    xxx
Go hopefully into each new day, enjoy something from every day no matter how small, you never know when it will be your last

I'm back with ma boy :D:D:D.

Was a horrible drive (and I cried most of the way there - insert confused smiley!), rained all the way there and all the way back and didnt spend much time in the city as it was so horrible but we're back now and its snowing and the smell of fresh Lush is everywhere :rotfl:.

Going for a cuppa in a min then try and tackle the middle room as I dont have all day to do stuff tomorrow, I now have to see the dietician at 130 right in the middle of the day!

Lots of hugs to give out
    Gotnodosh - for your situation

LameWolf - for you, Mr Lamewolf and his sister
    Vanilla - for you x
Penpen - for those of you affected by redundancy - not a nice time to hear

and anyone else who needs one.

Special wishes for Toots and LadyLiberty

    Cuppa :coffee: anyone else
