Morning all, well we had a little bit of snow last night and woke to loads this morning. Website doesn't have the school down for being closed but to be honest i don't think we would get down the lane. So kids can lie in and i'm not sure what to do with the bins yet.

Kitchen looking loads better this morning, mind you it's not finished yet. I did take a before pic and i'll post it later with an after pic.

Right best go and unload the dw and declutter livingroom again.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

Oh dear, this morning hasn't gone to plan. Thought I'd have a lovely lie-in as it's the last day of term and extremely unlikely I'd get supply, and got a text from my sister at 7.30. She told me she's just had an operation to remove severely pre-cancerous cells from her cervix, and they've done a biopsy to see if the cells have gone deeper. This was her first smear test. I'm ashamed to say, that despite all of the encouragement on here, I've never had one, so I'll be calling the doctor in a few minutes to book one. (My sister said that there is a scale for the number of bad cells apparently, and her's were at the top end of severe. She is 25 - 2 years younger than me.)
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

LW Just spend time decluttering lots of love with Mr LW and Sidney, in the grand scheme of things flying is NOT important. My thoughts are with you.

Penpen Not good news just before Christmas. My mum works for one of the Primary Care Trusts and the same things has happened, they are trying to find other jobs to relocate them into but my mum is not hopeful as she is not that far away from retiring.

    Sexy hugs

I am giving out hugs and spoons in abundance as they seem to be needed right now.

I have started my Christmas holidays today so will start flying slowly later. The boss told us yesterday that although we still are not sure where we stand after the defence review there will be no redundancies, if we scale down our numbers it will be natural wasteage.

She gets the results of her biopsy in 2-3 weeks. Just called the doctor and they can't see me until January 5th despite me telling her about my sister.

Is there a well woman/FP clinic attached to your local hospital you could go to instead? Our FP clinic do smear tests, so yours might.x
ETA I know where we are you can self refer and just walk in for smear tests at the FP/WW clinics

Sexy - don't stress about the smear if you don't get one, it's not usually a familial problem. Hope your sister is ok.
