Typical. Just typical. I freeze my fingers off hanging out a line of washing in the freezing sunshine. What happens ten minutes later? A band of dark, dark cloud starts making its way over. Well, it can stay out there until it actually starts to snowI am the leading lady in the movie of my life

Morning all
Just been to the primary carol concert, it was so cold walking home and now it is snowing very lightly so feeling very christmasy.
Sexy - big hugs, I so know how worried you are as I was in the same situation with my younger sis last week (we are both considerably older than you and your sis though). Her cells were level 3 and she had them treated and a cone biopsy (sp) done too. Worrying won't help you so now you know be proactive. Good girl for stating the process of having the smear taken and once it is done make sure this means you always get one done regularly for life. Piggers was great at setting my mind to rest, drop her a pm. Often this is related to a virus so the fact you are related should not put you being related at at greater risk (as I understand it). Hugs, chin up, don't sweat the small stuff and make the most of everyday.
Sermon over, flying here I come, starting with condensation wiping. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
((((((((LW & MrLW)))))))))
Another one with a bad day here I'm afraid. Got a call just before my GP appointment to say OH had crashed the car again. He'd ended up going over to his ex's late last night has his DS1 who he'd been expecting to pick up from the station and take to school this morning didn't come home - he came off the road on black ice while on his way over to come to the GP with me. He was clearly in shock and sounds like he really can't cope anymore. His ex was going to collect him, and he's sent one work email since then saying he doesn't want today's appointments cancelled (I spoke to a colleague to cancel them). I don't think he's been to a GP and he's not answering his phone or replying to my texts. I just wish I knew whether he was OK. My brother has promised to try to get in touch with him, and see him if he goes home, but hopefully his ex will have the sense not to let him be on his own for a few days.
GP has referred me to the breast clinic, and for some other tests. There is unlikely to be a problem (I've spoken to a friend, my brother and my dadand they're all reassuring me that it will probably be fine) but its more stress at a difficult time. Anyway, my dad has told me that he's going to put my mother on a train to come down and see me for a few days... he's expecting her to go back before christmas and come back down with him, but did point out my house might be warmer than theirs as they have oil heating and are having to ration it, so she may stay longer than I want
