    How did our HHc's go?

I am quite pleased with mine to say i didnt want to move..

    Changed bed linen
    Put washing machine on
    Wrapped two more presents (dad/man)
Cursed under breath about Play - still waiting for one of mans presents it was dispatched on 4th dec apparently!
Quick dust round in living room - tv, mantle, table
    Tidied table hotspot (a bit)
Washed up and swiped kitchen sides down
    Binbag dance

Not bad and you can see the difference. Well, I can. Jinx is still sulking and he will do even more soon when I get the hoover out, particularly when I do the sofa as he hates the hoover.

Though first I am thinking maybe a little snooze on the sofa..

I am so glad you posted that! You reminded me I needed to put on a load of Mr LW's clothes. Thanks.

Sidney's decluttered the last of this morning's food, so his dish has been washed and the kitchen floor done - yet again! This dog has to be among the world's messiest eaters!:D

List is shorter but there is still loads to do. Mainly with wrapping Christmas Presents. I've just wrapped the last of DH's and DD1's but cannot find the tesco voucher for a year's subscription to Heat Magazine that I have got her. I'm hoping I haven't decluttered it into the paper recycling!

Sending hugs to greenbee and to lil_me. Keeping fingers crossed that your appointment goes well greenbee and that everything is normal. Sounds like your Dad is very thoughtful sending your Mum down. Hope your OH is ok too.

Well I did it! Was very embarassing, and also worrying as the nurse made the doctor come in and look at me too, as she thought she'd found something abnormal, but the doctor took one look and said I was perfectly normal. Fingers crossed I don't have to go through that for another 3 years. I should get the results in about 3 weeks as Christmas is in the middle. The nurse was very nice and told me that although there was a slightly higher risk for familial problems, she thought that with my history I should hopefully be fine. Off to see sister with a card later to cheer her up as we've got to go past anyway as Moon has to take his car in to be repaired. Also got my legs waxed after the test (not at the same place obviously lol), so that's another appointment decluttered. I did appologise to the nurse for my hairy legs. lol

Gas man here servicing the boiler at the moment and then we'll head out. Haven't done any flying at home as I've been running around all over the place (didn't even have any breakfast before I went as couldn't face it).
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.
I married Moon 8/4/2011, baby boy born 26/9/2012, Angel Baby Poppy born 8/11/15, Rainbow baby boy born 11/2/2017

Greenbee as someone who panics - badly - if Mr LW forgets to text me when he gets to work to let me know he's got there OK, I can understand how you must be feeling. (((HUGS))) and hoping you hear very soon that OH is alright.
Thanks. I think he's OK, but he's also realised that he can't cope with everything right now. Hopefully he'll finally get some help (life coaching/counselling/whatever) to try to help him understand what's going on. He's realised that he needs to put himself first as he can't keep everyone happy. Unfortunately this means that he's calling things off with me for the moment and hard as it is I've just got to let him. Not quite sure how the working together thing is going to go, given that we have a lot of joint work travel later in the year, but there's no point in looking too far ahead.

I think my mother has been complaining about the cold, so he's keen for her to spend a few days somewhere warmer! With oil prices as they are, he's having to turn the heating off most of the time

as penpen says, they've seen it all before. I'm lucky in that our practice nurse is lovely and we always had a good gossip :) takes my mind off it (mind you, she fitted my diaphragm, so NOTHING is embarrasing after that!). And they now use a plastic speculum... I'm sure I'm not the only one here who remembers how COLD the metal ones were (or how hot if they warmed them up a little too much under the tap!)

I've collected my dry cleaning and done some ironing, but that's about it. I have some pillow-cases and 3 kingsize duvet covers left to do. Funnily enough I'm suffering from a severe attack of CBA but I suppose I should do something to make the house vaguely presentable and welcoming for when my mother arrives...
