  • Hello all,

Big hugs to you all, especially those suffering right now. It seems that there is a lot of struggles going on so I will hold you all in my prayers.

Busy day here, man is coming tonight so I have a lot of tidying to do and I have been stuck in the vets for ages this morning. Sadly the family before me had to have their dog put to sleep so I didnt mind having to wait so long and it was quite emotional. Jinx is fine though, he has had his boosters and his worming pill and is now sat sulking especially as the vet told him he needs to loose weight. I got home and introduced him to some old toys and he just looked at me in disgust and sloped off.

It is freeeeeezing here, got part way to last nights party and had to turn back as it was snowing heavy and blowing a gale. It led to my friend having a whinge at me but hey I am not going to let it get to me, or try not to.

Huge hugs Greenbee - hope things work out well in the end.

Washing has come back in again as it's started to snow very lightly. I'd best off out and do the shopping now just in case it gets worse.

    Morning all

Cold here, a little snow shower earlier which pitched but luckily it's going again. Hate snow/ice.

Some washing hung round, made sausage & tomato pie for dinner, a victoria sandwich and some little fruit cakes. Then vacuumed through downstairs.

Defrosted bird bath several times. I've got a new routine of emptying it late afternoon so I just have to put water in next morning rather than trying to melt a big lump of ice, but it just keeps freezing over this morning. The blackbird managed a good wash in between though.

Not much else going on, not caught up yet. I hope people are having a better day today. I've been reading through the week but don't seem able to retain who's done what or who is ill, so just good wishes all round really. We were up early today. At 4.20 there was a loud bang (DH: what bang?), which turned out to be the loft door banging open, the cold I suppose. Then the cat started knocking to go out. I got back into bed and started coughing. And coughing. And coughing. At 5.15 DH got up, put the heating on and made a cup of tea. It's going to be a long day....

Tidied around, dried condensation, dusted downstairs, sorted out post, send a couple of texts.

Just having lunch and sorting a bit of paperwork then I'll quickly clean the bathroom before collecting DS3 from school, expecting the other 2 home any time now.

Ditto! I took cat no.3 to the vets first thing. Jabs and wormed, and too fat! Had a bit of a battle getting her into the cat basket, and I have scratches all over my chest despite my fleece being zipped up. I wouldn't mind but we are out at a dinner tonight.
Came home with fat cat, then went to the library to stock up for Christmas. Then I went to Mr T. and put an £88 shop through and the till crashed. They wanted me to unpack it put it through again and repack. I raised the roof and asked for a manager, then stood by as the staff unpacked it and put it through again. Honestly!

Home now, have just eaten a sandwich, then I must crack on.......Will post list when I have actually crossed something off it!

Hugs to Greenbee and Sexy and any one else who might be in need. Will report back later :D

Sexymouse (((HUGS))) Posi-vibes for your Sis, and all my hopes that her tests come back clear.

Mumof2 Oh no, naughty Pip! And no, I don't think it fades into insignificance; a little furbaby you care about has done something that puts her at risk; you're perfectly entitled to be upset and worried. I have to admit to being quite paranoid about keeping chocolate out of canine reach - after all, the ones I have here are other peoples' pets, in my care. I also have o be very careful about my tablets - it doesn't bear thinking about if one of my charges got hold of my morphine! Hoping Pip is OK.

Greenbee as someone who panics - badly - if Mr LW forgets to text me when he gets to work to let me know he's got there OK, I can understand how you must be feeling. (((HUGS))) and hoping you hear very soon that OH is alright.
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)
