Sexy - well done, it is worth a few minutes of feeling embarrassed (and there really is no need) to potentially save your life.

Greenbee I'm so sorry things have turned out like this but from what you have said it maybe the best thing for all of you. I hope it hasn't completely ruined your christmas. Take some time for yourself sweetie. Worse thing with the metal ones was when you had braced yourself for it being cold and then it being hot.

DS3 doesn't want to go to diving - last one and I'm not sorry as I'd have to de-ice the car.

    Going to finish the bathroom
make a cake for the squash party tomorrow
    make lasagne for DS1 dinner

off out tonight on Year 4 Mum's Christmas meal which will be a pleasant change

Sexym - well done on going for your smear....massive, massive hugs as it's always daunting especially the first time. You should be flippin' proud of yourself girl! Big hugs to your sister too xx

Greenbee - sending lots of hugs and coping vibes your way too, it's so hard when we want to help but it's kind of out of our hands. Lots of love xx

Lil_me - hugs to you hun xxxxx

    LL - BOO!!! xxx

I've managed to work all day. Back has stiffened up somewhat as the first three treatments were me sitting down. The last one was hot stone massage so moving around has helped but I'm hoping a bit of gentle flying might ease it a bit more. I'm off to watch DS receive an award for his taekwondo in a hour (what a difference a year makes!!) and will do some gentle s/s ing until then.

    Hugs to everyone xx

Well I had to have 9 years in a row of s**ars and luckily it was never too embarassing - especially when I remembered it was what nurses do day in day out and don't think another thing about it

I'm attempting to put my tree up in the LR while cleaning it with a non stop runny nose and sneezing away. Halfway there now, 3/4 cleaned, and tree 1/2 done, off for a honey and lemon then crack on with the rest of it

Most of the Christmas shopping done and I'm exhausted! Just sitting down with a cuppa and then I need to unpack all the shopping, put the tree up and get ready to go out for dinner with work this evening. Where has the day gone?

Seafarers - To get a bit of candle out of a jar or out of any holder put it in the freezer, the wax will shrink in the cold and pop straight out. Just be careful when you take it out as the holder might be fragile and crack if heated too fast.

Well done Sexy, thanks for the reminder too. I need to have my 6 monthly smear after a positive and having to have a bit dug out of me. Eeek. Had to cancel mine in the snow and never got it remade. At least they didn't pop a camera up there like they did when I had my 3 month post removal check up. The Dr seemed very excited to tell me that was my cervix in HD.:eek:

Woooohooooooooooooo (typical man getting excited about technology) I had my legs in the air tbh I was not that interested in looking :rotfl::rotfl:.

Okies, going to drink my coffee and then it will be hoover time!

    Then bath time.

Then sit around doing nothing and trying not to get too excited until man comes time.

Oooo my batteries have come, Lottie if you make an order the delivery is very quick.. I now have 40 AA's and 10 AAA's for less than £20 delivered!

    Okies..

    hi all

Tuesday - living room, hallway, stairs
    Level one
    [STRIKE]Clear the floor of clutter[/STRIKE]

well this is all i have got done this week - decluttered living room of all furniture and gibble, layed down a new oak floor, and then put furniture back (toy gibble is piled up in kids rooms to be sorted another day)

    http://i1083.photobucket.com/albums/j382/Helen_Cunningham/floor.jpg

oh well i have 2 days next week that kids are at school - as long as they are not snow days - so i will have to blitz the house in 2 days...

but finally my living room is clean and tidy (that is if you ignore the book shelves)

Huge hugs all round again. So many bad things happening to nice people at the moment :(.

Struggling to tidy again, trying to get things done in short bursts but I am stupidly sore and tired. Humph.

I have a couple of hours free tomorrow as DH is taking the boys to choose me a charm each for my Pandora bracelet as their Christmas presents :j. Thank you again Lil-me for the original suggestion, I would never have thought of something like that but it is perfect family tradition material. DH never takes the boys on his own so they are very excited to - and putting lots of thought into what I might like.

    Time for my next HHHC

Bathroom all sparkley and smells very vinegary.

Cake made, didn't rise as much as I'd hoped so will have to be tiered up.

Best fed the cats and start the dinner.
