    I can't see anyone losing their job for £100 and I can't see anyone in a call centre admitting that they made a mistake personally.
    I'd be inclined to pursue if I felt I had been lied to. If someone tells me they honestly f*cked up and does not try to pass the buck I'd let them off the hook. Problem is there is not a lot of that type of honesty going around these days.
  • I'd give them my address and ask them to send me £100. If they did, then I'd drop the complaint!
  • I'd say they had 1 week to put £150 in my account and I'd say no more about it. Call it aversion therapy.:D
  • I'd complain; it's not my fault if they can't do their job properly. Maybe they shouldn't be working there!

    report it and get YOUR money back. its their fault (and the firm's) that poor advice is being given.

    if no one speaks up, they will think everything is ok when it clearly isnt.
    Long time away from MSE, been dealing real life stuff..
    Sometimes seen lurking on the compers forum :-)
