    September's OP made today, of £1800, bringing my balance down to a still eye watering £284,951.

    How do I update my details of amount, target etc, that lots of people have at the foot of their posts?

    After having no effective move for June, July and August. September has come in with a
    bumper overpayment of £4,602.32 and it's looking like October will be even better.

    This leaves me at £19,274.32 against a target of £20,000 for the year. Will definitely beat that and by a considerable margin I hope.

    I intend to up the target a lot next year. We've got plans to buy some woodland and want to clear the mortgage first. The aim being to offset enough money to make our mortgage effectively 'free' from the Spring of 2013.

    Looking like a £40k target for 2012. Operation 'Hairshirt'. Wish us luck!

    Through various little money making schemes I've managed to pay off an extra £500 off the mortgage in addition to my regular overpayment taking my annual overpayments to over £5k this year :j
