broken thru £100 mortgage interest barrier--now £99.77
That's great BT - even (marginally!) more of your monthly payment going towards capital :TA positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

Where is the time going, another month and its the month before Christmas.
Another payment of £938 in October, an overpayment of £500. Still managing to keep up these overpayments. New target for 2011 is get the balance down to £6,000, looks like I will do it next month.
As a reward, for being on track to beat target, OH and me are going to the Algarve end of October for a treat.
I would like to encourage everyone to keep at it, you know it makes sense. :TMortgage free

#192 reporting in with an OP of £500 for October.
I got an unexpected tax rebate so that is the only reason I am able to make the OP, since I was made redundant on August and still don't have a new job. Got an interview next week ...fingers crossed! If I don't get that job I don't think I will be working til next year as I am away in Noevmber and the job market will be very quiet when I get back. I can survive financially though and any of my redundancy money that is left over when I go back to work will be going into savings to pay off the mortgage if the base rate stays at this level (or onto the OPs if the base rate rises).
The good news this month is that I have broken the £60k barrier :beer:What goes around comes around.....I hope!0 -

Apols for the lateness. Lots of changes going on in the Little Mama house and a little less going towards the mortgage pot.

Need to go and check to see if I did my July update.....I'll be back!
