Another £200 OP today. Total now £420!0 -
Hi - #29 reporting in for March.
Got an automated overpayment coming out tomorrow, ie the first of £70.67
Objective is to overpay by £2,050.00
Here's how I'm looking year to date:
Month: Ideal Pay / Ideal Total / Ideal % / Actual Pay / Actual Total (Diff) / Actual %
January: 170.83 / 170.83 / 8.33% / 70.67 / 70.67 (100.16) / 3.45%
February: 170.83 / 341.67 / 16.67% / 70.67 / 141.34 (200.33) / 6.89%
March: 170.83 / 512.50 / 25.00% / 70.67 / 212.01 (300.49) / 10.34%
So, year to date I'm short by 300.49 as I should have paid 512.50 by now (averaging the 2,050 out over the 12 months) to hit the objective by December.
Hoping to be able to up the payments from April onwards - haven't done exact sums, but about £200 OP per month would hit the year end objective.
Also dependent on the base rate as I'm dropping off my fix of 4.79% onto the Nationwide SVR of 2.5% after 31st March.
Off to do the form update...

Well, March's mtge payment has gone out today with it's usual OP of £421.84. I also OP'd a further £75, as I finally had £70 cashback from switching suppliers last May and a teeny bit of cashback from something else.
That makes March's OP £496.84. YTD £2715.52 against target of £5000
Fix on smaller mtge ends in April, so will revert to SVR. YeayI am the master of my fate; I am the captain of my soulRepaid mtge early (orig 11/25) 01/09 £124616 01/11 £89873 01/13 £52546 01/15 £12133 07/15 £NILNet sales 2024: £200 -

Nice payment
You're on your hols soon aren't you?
£208 plus regular payment left account today. Don't know mortgage bal yet (takes a couple of days for dust to settle) and may well try and eek out another OP before 12th (to coincide with MFit2) but that depends on how well I keep to my new uber-strict regime. Hhhmmm
The £208 wasn't made up of anything spectaular - budgeted OP and Halifax Rewards.
Cake - Shall update google docs with this months total OP's when I know what they are0
