Beat my target with a December OP of £750. I've also took a month off the mortgage term with that £750. Now looking at August 2013 instead of September 2013 to complete!

May post another update on or near 31st December, as I'm aiming for a year end mortgage balance of £20,750, so I'll need to make a further OP of a fiver or so - my OCD kicking in there...

Do I still need to update via google docs?

    Financial Bliss.
Mortgage and debt free. Building up savings...
  • Well done FB! I've updated it for you. Well done on getting to your target a month ahead - if only everything was done a month ahead - that would be amazing. So a little more overpayment and you'll be well over your target :)
Feb 2012 - onwards MF achieved
September 2016 - Back into clearing a mortgage - Was due to be paid off in 32 years in March 2047 -
April 2018 down to 28.00 months vs 30.04 months at normal payment.
Predicted mortgage clearing 03/2047 - now looking at 02/2045

Aims: 1) To pay off mortgage within 20 years - 2037

  • Sure - can you stick the info in the MFW 2012 please? Just so we have an orderly list of all challengers. Also what do you think your target is going to be for 2012? For a 23 year old you seem to have a great head on you - I wish I was so focussed when I was your tender age.

  • #192 OP for November was £500 and will be the same for December. Despite being made redundant in August I have continued to OP and now have new job to start in Jan, so it has all worked out OK!
What goes around comes around.....I hope!
