You send it to the tax office that deal with your current or most recent employer.

my partner has just showed me a clip from todays paper which looks as tho we could claim somat, are we correct???
our son was born in july 2000
hope someone can help us ou a liitle here

I also seen the clip in The Sun newspaper today, and have got my Mum and Dad to apply for it, as my younger brother was born between the dates specified.

I would encourage all to do the same, as expected the HMRC arent going to publise this too much

Well mine was posted on Friday, deliver Saturday(sent recorded so tracked it). Just got to sit tight now for 12 weeks or so and keep my fingers crossed that we get the full amount(children born 2002/2003) but I would be happy with a tenner lol

I rang today and they told me I had not claimed this allowance. They then went on to tell me I was too late to claim 2001-02. Is this right? Seems harsh to me.

Yes that is correct you can only claim for year 2002/03 now. Please see the new official thread here...
