A bit confused- I looked at a few pay slips from that year and my tax code is 707H - I believe anyone with H at the end of taxcode does not need to claim because it has already been claimed!!!
Be kind because I'm no tax expert!!0 -
Just checked my P60s. My tax code ends in T and DH in L. Does this mean I already got it? I certainly don't remember getting anything. DD was born Jan 2003.0

Hi all

just one question, has anyone been successful in reclaiming 2001/2002 after last years deadline by quoting the limitation act?
Thanks

I'm fairly certain we didn't claim this our daughter was born Jul 2002. I seem to recall my husband had a tax code ending with K thanks to a previous employer not completing p11ds for 3 years and not informing HRMC that he had a company car. If we are owed money do they alter your tax code or do they pay it in a lump sum?0

phoned them today, appaeantly had it within my code at the time... doh!.
Although worth checking for others, as if you were not quite on the ball tax allowance wise at the time, then you will be owed something.0 -

Hi all - great info on here - very helpful, however whilst both me and my wife can say yes to the following:-
Your child was born between 6/4/86 & 5/4/03
Your child lived with you in 2002/2003
You paid tax in 2002/2003
Your earnings were over £6k in 2002/2003
looking at my tax code for 2002/03 it ended in H although the wifes p60 ended in L, so does that mean we still had all the allowance through my payslip only, or might we still be entitled to something back through my wifes tax office?? Any help/advice gratefully received!!0 -
Go to this HMRC link:

If your tax allowance was not increased to 7020 and you meet the critieria you should be able to able to make a claim.0
