    Help!!!
Im in need of some advice. Just had the biggest shock of my life. My husbands parents have just told him we can move in to their to save some money! Ill fill you all in on the background - I live with hubby in a 2 bed flat renting - £475 a month!!! Husbands parents live in a 3 bed house with no kids anymore and have said they will knock the wall through so there is one big room and we can live there for £30 rent a week! Husband is all for it as he thinks we make £600 extra savings a month! and techniqually be in a house quicker than if we didnt!

Oh husband is all for this!

My husbands mum has not always been the nicest person to me and it took a while for me to learn to ignore her!
Please help - tell me what u think I should do?

I think you have to do what you think is right for you, OH and your future. You're the one that is going to have to live with the MIL, can you do it?

In my news, listing on ebay this lunchtime.
  • Morning all! Hope all is well!

Well sadly :( the last day of my 10 day xmas holidays today so half my minds on the nightmare that will be work tomorrow...

    Nevertheless

    Day 3

Had to nip out this morning so before I went I sorted some records and stuff out that I wanted to place on ebay later so gonna have an hour or so of power listing later to get those on. Not expecting much for them but never theless everything helps.

I was a bit concerned that day three wouldnt see me get nothing towards my total but to my suprise a few of my reviews on CIAO had hit off enough to get me over the £5 threshold so I have cashed that in earning £5.14 to add to my total

    the day is still young.....

One of my ideas is to start a website writing about a subject I am interested in and linking to ebay autions relevant to the subject. Possibly also amazon. Am I right in thinking I can pick my auctions? Also is there any reason I can't link to my own autions (I would say they are mine) so increaseing my advertising and getting affiliate money?

I've never built a website before can anyone recommmend an all in one cheap simple hosting package? I was looking at the 123 reg starter one with free instantsite at 2.49per month, is the software easy to use?

Do you make money from free bingo without loseing your original stake, or do you just get more credit that you have to spend there?

    Would appreciate the help!

Well I have updated my totals for today, £27.51 which breaks down into £19.12 on my Boots card and £8.39 in spare change which I have just sat and counted.

I've been listing old clothes on Ebay last night and today, have listed dvd's on Amazon and books on Green Metropolis, I've got lots more but will do it gradually over the course of this week. I've sold some dvd's but will count it once the dvd's are sent and I know the money is mine, I also traded in some old cd's and dvd's on music magpie but again will count the money once I have received it.

I've signed up to a few cashback sites and will look at doing the free sign ups during the evenings to earn some extra pennies.

I'm really glad I found this website as reading other peoples accomplishments make me more determined to stick to mine :j
:j Here's to 2013, may it bring Happiness to all :j

    Hello All,

Ive just been looking through my house in the last few days. Ive now found aload of dvds and cd's and old computer games that i will not use anymore so i want to get rid of them. Is music magpie the best place to get money back for them or is there somewhere else better? I have used music magpie before and found them to be ok, just dont exactly get the biggest amount back for the purchase. So just wondered if anyone could maybe point me in a better direction? if not then im happy to use them again to add to my total

I wont be inlcuding lotto wins in mine as its a gamble isnt it and I am not deducting the outlay so not including the winnings. Well done though!
  • hello!

So today has been really unproductive as we paid out for a washing machine (£90 off ebay) so were kinda going backwards but on the otherside,we were spending almost £20 per week going to the launderette so in theory,it will pay for itself very soon. Not much else to report apart from finding 26p in change tidying up :o i have some quidco transactions but ive had problems with quidco not paying out so im not counting it until its in the bank.

OH is glued to the xbox so im going to scour the internet for more money making ideas!

    TTFN! :D

That sounds like a great investment skint-student-nurse :) It should save you a fortune over the year and make your life easier too.
    Just £10,852.28p to go...

    :D

    Trust that little voice in your head that says "Wouldn't it be interesting if...";
    And then do it.
