Regardless of how you feel about yourself, you shouldn't be looking at getting physically involved with anyone prior to your post-natal check-up (not making any judgement there, just a medical note). You'll probably have worked out that you get more tired post CS, than after a normal birth, so don't let him think you'll be up to chats into the small hours if he wants to come over, or take you out.
Good luck!
I suspect 3 weeks postpartum with a chap she hasn't seen for 10 years, this will not be high on her list of priorities. Particularly if she opts for the spanx
However, medically I am fairly sure there is no reason to wait until the 6 week check out. I've had 3 children, 2 of whom were c sections and on each occasion on discharge from hospital I've been given advice on temporary contraception to use until a long term solution is discussed at the 6 week check. Never been told to abstain, and I suspect if you are told to its due to your own medical situation rather than a blanket ban for everyone.0 -

I asked a MW once (I think after the twins) and she said once the bleeding has stopped it's fine, but that you're very fertile after a birth (or an mc or termination) and she also said she better not see me in 9 months time :rotfl:Mum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession:o

I'd say it's bloomin good timing, not bad timing. Just when you need real company, the kind that doesn't vomit on you when you give it a cuddle, up pops this offer. In your FB profile pic you look lovely, so stop panicking about what you look like!
Why not suggest meeting for a coffee in the daytime. It's a bit less formal than an evening date.
BTW, on being asked out.If having different experiences, thoughts and ideas to you, or having an opinion that you don't understand, makes me a troll, then I am proud to be a 100% crying, talking, sleeping, walking, living Troll. :hello:0
