For my goddaughter next Christmas! Ive done about 4 rows...!!

Hi ISOM welcome aboard my dfw ship.
Mad mavis is the last loan i have (other than the mortgage).

Yes that's what i'm knitting, i've got 52 puffs done so far but have just side tracked myself onto knitting myself a smart cardi/jacket for work, it looks lovely but it's gonna be a pattern that takes a fair bit of concentration.

that quilt looks amazing i wish i was your god daughter. Quilting is the one thing i wish i could do but have yet to get around to, i'd best finish my puffs first, probably about another 400 or so to make

    Had a mixed day today:
mum and dad came around for a roast dinner - duck no less, which did turn out well in the end despite my being the chef.
we packed our first box - cleaning stuff from under the sink.

    but....
i discovered today that you shouldn't but stardrops in a dishwasher when you're running it through on a cleaning cycle. Probably in any cycle to be honest, we ended up with a bubble lake and a tripped switch which is very clever when you're in the midst of a roast (leccy oven) and have the washer on. It would be funny if it wasn't for the fact that i don't want to mess this place up before the sale goes through, oh and the pipe under the sink now appears to be dripping hence emptying out the stuff under there and packing most of it away.
  • Oh dear LT - poor you re the stardrops but yay to the roast - you're a darn fine cook me dear don't put yourself down.

Ace you've packed a box - are you excited?

think i'm just worried about the work involved and trying not to get toooooooo excited in case it all falls through. I am secretly excited though. Mr LT is just a kid before christmas though, every day he's bouncing around and squeaking that he want's to be in the house NOW!!!!!
i have also discovered that you get weird dreams not just before you get married but also whilst you're buying a house and moving. the latest weird dream involved serial killers who just happened to be bunny rabbits! oh and one was a soft toy rabbit. Heaven only knows what's going on in my head i certainly don't!

you can confess anything on here, there's no judgement. well unless you confess to lurving Mash then i can't guarentee to not think that you're out of your tree as it's the devils food lol

Trying to find a move date from a solicitors is a bit like trying to catch a cloud, i've a feeling we won't know until the time we get a call saying 'oy you should have moved in yesterday' lol. We're thinking/hoping it will be mid to end of Jan.
  • Solicitors are like politicians, can't give you a straight answer and can't be bothered to do more than the minimum requirement. Hope you get it sorted soon, would be nice to be in by Jan 2012.
