invest in one of those heat gun things to strip gloss, don't do what I did. I sanded the stuff and clogged the sander, it shorted out and blew me across the room.CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. lol it would take a powerfull machine to blow me across a room but i shall opt for the heat gun option.
I am tempted to just get new doors and skirtings though lol but that's not very MSE0 -

OK today's question if you could help.
Is it normal to have the equivalent of big advisories on a home buyers survey for the electrics as there's no evidence it's been rewired in the last 10 years and for the gas fire/boiler because they don't know when they were last serviced?
I know the boiler is being serviced on the 28th, and would expect to service the fire before we use it but i don't know if the electric comments are bog standard for an older home/ the in thing/ surveyor covering their aris or something more serious, does anyone else know?0 -
