Mash... we have it so often that I've taken to freezing leftovers (sorry for those who go pale at the thought) and today actually used some from the freezer which turned out perfectly presentable, rather to my surprise.

Having said that, if I ruled the world it would probably be chips every time, if we have to have potatoes at all. Pasta, cous cous, rice, bread... all preferable.

    Sidetrack... sorry... :o

Taxi lol i'm sure organisation will be the word of next year.

I can't believe that my diary is full of references to the evil stuff :( lol

ISOM we're going to get a sausage dog, we're planning on spending Christmas with my folks because Mr LT is working christmas day which means we can't go too far so can't spend it with his folks.

haven't gone to knitting circle today, mostly because it's cold and icy outside but also because i may have ended up being there on my own. Mr LT is working a 12 hour today :( so i need to get off my arris at some stage and start some packing, he's brought 40 boxes home yesterday so i guess it's my job to start filling up them.

it has been a quiet day today.
i discovered today that the bestest place to find knitting needles - as long as they're bog standard ones - is a charity shop. I couldn't find the ones i specifically needed in the knitting shop but two charity shops later and i found them for 50p bargain!

In honour of my northern isle friend i treated myself some Orkney crab pate, now i don't usually buy pate as it usually involves pig products somewhere along the line, this one looks like it will be yummy. :)

have yet to fill any boxes, it's just not happening at the moment :(

managed to use the dishwasher for the first time this week - no leaky water and no bubble pool everywhere. yay no more washing up!

Glad you've had a nice quiet day and :T to not flooding the kitchen from the dw full of stardrops!

thank you so much for that offer ISOM, i need 6mm ones but the long ones - about 35cm i think.
It turns out that my wonderful finds were imperial size 6's so were 5mm ones in disguise :(

hope you have a lovely time in Italy ISOM, you've probably gone by now.

Next year we really really hope Pippi, don't know when but i can't wait.

Had some more paperwork to fill out for the move today and issued instructions to Mr LT about getting his signature witnessed at work tomorrow, it shouldn't be too hard so i'm keeping my fingers crossed.
talking about mortgages i overpaid ours by £20 today which was money received from quidco, not much but every little helps and it's a bit less to pay off eventually and will save coppers in interest.

doesn't it just! i'm sure mine took at least 6 months, i always wonder whether i should chase for the payment or not but never end up doing so and just waiting patiently

went shopping on my way home tonight, it wasn't as horendously (sp?) busy as others had said it would be but i didn't half spend a fortune and i barely bought anything, I thought it was about time i bought my BIL's pressy though - all i can say is that thank god we don't drink! boy is it expensive how do people afford it?

we've made another appointment to see 'our' house again, this time i'm going to help Mr LT do the measuring up so i can at least know what the random numbers mean - i thought men were supposed to be gods of the diy and practical world?
