i thought men were supposed to be gods of the diy and practical world?

The only reason that thought has been planted in our heads is because Men have the brass neck to tell us all how wonderful they are, whereas we women are slightly less inlove with our own ability to do DIY.

you could very well be right there though i have to admit Mr LT doesn't boast about his abilities.

i've been working on my organisational skills today - i've drafted out the rooms so that i can add measurements to the plans so i can start playing/planning things. I've also drafted a list of the rooms and the obvious things which need to be done in each one and the likely timescale. I've had to do this otherwise i'll just want to start everything at the same time and get it done NOW and not finish anything.

thanks Pippi - have a lovely christmas and holibob

course you can play Nora it's more fun when you get to see each others plans for rooms, i'll send you some maths paper.

i've been playing with my accounts software tonight - yes i know i'm mega sad but it's fun! struck me that i need to factor a potential extra mortgage payment out of this months money as i use Dec 28th payment to pay the mortgage due on Jan 28th (saves me worrying that they'll bounce my mortgage payment at a minute past midnight because my pay didn't go in until 2 mins past which they've done before). I'm not sure when the first payments will actually be due but even if they're in february i'll need to hold some back to cover the back interest from when it's leant to the new payment date.

got the paperwork sorted out for our solicitor so Mr LT can take that tomorrow, and some sorted out for the Mortgage companies solicitor which i will copy and send off tomorrow. Just spotted another charge of £130 which we'll get hit with when we actually take the mortgage - grrrr the spare from the sale is whittling away almost daily!
