Ordered loads of christmas bits.. Still need stuff for DS2, 2 sisters OH's and 1 sis.. but other than that we are done.. I have stuff for DD4, DD3 and DS2 to get from my mother £10-£15 ish. That little lot WILL be sorted on Thursday as KH IS picking the children up from school.. he has been TOLD as it is his weekend at New Year he has no choice but to have them as I have already made plans (sshh, little white porker there!) DD1 will be given a key and the others can go straight to his from school.. though DD1 did say she was skint so might go anyway.. Good luck to her I say!

Toots.. you naughty thing.. be off with you to your nest!!!! I've been kipping in the chair with a snuggled baby so am just not tired!

Jen.. If you cannot get somene else to do school runs then I'd be keeping them home!

On the last few inches of the first pram blanket :D I may actually manage to get the 2 done by christmas.. you watch I'll have everything sorted and end up half the night knitting instead of wrapping like I normally do!!

    Listy up for tomorrow.. :D

Off to fold some towels and away to my pit.. :D

Using this guide from the marvellous closed from the Techie board I have managed to sort out our desk top computer this evening.

The desk top was soooo slow we've been avoiding using it because its so rubbish, I mean literally 20 minutes to start and log on and connect to internet...now its a respectable 2 minutes which is just lovely.:T

May be of use to some flyladies with slow computers. I downloaded malwarebytes etc from Download.cnet.com.

Long labourious job but I'm so pleased its sorted out.

    :eek::eek::eek:

Can say that again. It's brutal here. Getting to the shop today was a nightmare just glad I was walking. Trudging through the snow was bad but we tried walking on the road and nearly went up on our rears so we went back to the snow again. My heating has been on full blast all day and it's still coldish:eek: It must be bad when the kids say it's too cold to go out and play!!!!!!!

Fly wise I have slung the WM on filled both the winter dykes decluttered many and various hot drinks and I'm just waiting for OH to get in. I've asked him not to do the Christmas party season in Creiff next year as this month of worry about him driving up and down is too much for me, I think I'd rather be skint we'd manage somehow.

I'm off for a look at Triker's link my computer is behaving snail like too.

First - totally agree with your advice to jen - Please stop taking such risks:eek:
Second - what were you doing posting that late at night??
If you have been told to slow down then SLOW DOWN!! I know you must be having problems getting help from carers in this weather, but you must be able to cull some jobs from your list - they can't all be essential.

    Morning ALL

    Seafarers
    - seriously tell her to butt out or just ignore her. It is not worth letting people judge something they are not experiencing.

    Toots - Big Hugs

FunFair - That was so nice of your OH but honestly... eugh dirty old man. I would fling the mattress and be grateful it wasnt your sofa which probably wouldnt be so easy to replace/hide.

Mudders - what a sweet little guy your DS is and how nice of those workmen.

Piggers - I have an image of you with knitting needles flying, I am sure you will make it in time.

Decided last night to leave my heating on really low and it has made a big difference. I could see my breath in the kitchen yesterday morning and eeek toooo cold.
My cat has managed to send his bowls flying during the night. I have a soggy mix of water and biscuits on the kitchen floor, Oh and the cheeky cat walked through the water this morning, looked at me and shaked his paws as if it was my fault!!!!:rotfl::eek:

Our schools closed today again. :D Not sure if the school play will go ahead for tomorrow night, just have to wait and see. Kids are chuffed they have another day in the snow.

Funfairprincess thats awful, i would just chuck the mattress to be honest.

Toots and Kazw your right, i'm gonna phone around a couple of places today and print out her cv. I think i'm just gonna have to gather up the £400 and pay it off myself, i already know she won't pay it but if she does surprise me by paying it off then i'll have £400 gathered up for table and chairs........ Who am i kidding i'll be paying it off.
I got pretty cross yesterday as i asked her about rent and she said ''he pay's it weekly'', then i asked how much would you have left for food, bills, car payment, insurance ect she said ''enough to do''. I was gonna post on the DFW board but she'll tell nothing. I really had to bite my tough and hubby was the same.

Mudders how lovely people can be at times.

seafarers just deep breaths when your MIL2B is around, do what you and your oh want.

Right dw on and i'll go get dressed.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

    Morning all...

    :jMONDAY & TUESDAY ALL DONE:j

Seafarer's Lots of hugs. My MIL was similar after we had DS, loads of unwanted 'advice.' I learnt to smile politely & carry on doing things my way. You could try repeating 'thank-you for your advice, I'll discuss it with my OH/Doc/Osteo & then make a decision.' It's called the 'broken record' technique & we were shown it at work on a behaviour management course (I work at a college). When someone isn't doing what you ask you just repeat the same thing to every question or objection that they make. It does work cos they eventually realise you aren't going to change what you say.

    My list:
Wednesday - Master messroom! and landing
    Level one
Strip the bedding and get it washed!

    30 minutes floordrobe/junk clearing!!
    Level Two

    Level Three

Wipe down all the furry paintwork
Fill a binbag for charity shop or the bin!

Might do the bathroom tho, it's more in need than the bedroom.

    love to all....
