Tuesday - living room, hallway, stairs
Level one

Clear the floor of clutter

Tidy the baubles and lights on the tree.. OR PUT UP YOUR TREE (I have about a dozen baubles strewn about already.. thanks cats!) Not relevant yet as its not up, its a job for the weekend, my cat kicks baubles round like a football:rotfl:

Vacuum the stairs and hallway and living room

Wipe and water plants I don't have plants they always die

Funfairprincess, oh I do feel for you; that's pretty grim but OH did do the right thing. Can't believe he's at the pub again though!

Everyone is doing really well with their lists and putting me to shame - slowly slowly catchy monkey is what they say isn't it (I think).

Off to bed in a minute, DH away tonight but not sure how much sleep I will get as DS has a nasty cough and keeps shouting 'I want you Mummy' so I've already been up and downstairs a few times this evening. Poor lil man.

See you tomorrow. No classes so hope to be able to do a bit more around the house - after school/nursery run, fetching DD's coat from M&S, bit more Christmas shopping, walking the dog ..... oh dear, I'll just do what I can!.

Anyone know how to get the shine back on a pair of patent shoes?

DS2 polished his with standard shoe polish and they don't look right.

Im so bloomin annoyed and cant rant to anyone as its to late at night and I need to get it out my system before i reach for chocolate.

My MIL to be has decided that the combination of drugs im taking for my back pain is dangerous and i should stop straight away and just take paracetamol. I should also stop the osteopath as its a waste of money! Im not to drive to scotland for christmas as its dangerous and she worries even when i drive to work, oh and when can she book our honeymoon???? Oh and im spoilt for saying that fine I will go and buy a 4x4 tomorrow and she can then tell her son where our house deposit money has gone! I just want her to butt out my business.

seriously this woman is bleemin demented. The osteopath and the doctor are both happy with the drug cocktail im on for back pain, the doctor is very happy with the work the osteopath is doing on my back. she has also felt the need to discuss it with all her friends and they are worried as someone so young! shouldnt be on that amount of painkillers as its not healthy. WILL YOU MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS!

The honeymoon gets even better, she has a timeshare in lanzarotte that she wants us to go to for a week, but i dont have the holiday left at work to do it and OH does not want to go there, we are happy to wait till we can go to Rome even if its a year or two down the line and do it in style rather than a beach holiday for a week which just isnt us.

I feel like ive been made out to be the baddie as i raised my voice to her, but she wouldnt let me speak and we keep having the honeymoon conversation over and over again and she just wont listen. She even called me spoilt! Yes I am spoilt and I admit it, but so what just because Im not grovelling to her for trying to arrange a honeymoon that we dont even want to go on and she claims to have been a pharmasist assistant and through diazepam was an anti depressant and doesnt even know what a cortisone injection is!

I swear its at times like this I wish 4 continents away from her rather than 6 hours drive!

Poor babe, you can have a rant and we will listen, we don't judge you or yours, same as you would / have listened to us.

As long as you and your OH are in agreement she can go whistle.
As for gossiping, well that what some people do, maybe her life is a bit dull and your the livliest(?) thing in it to talk about.

Above all don't worry about it, keep cool calm and reserved,(it'll wind her up no end).;)

Just wanted to say a massive thank you for everyone's hugs etc. I know the GP isn't huge in the grand scheme of things but it's certainly made for a strange old evening here. DS was really upset for DD especially as we weren't sure how to bury it. He asked if he could play in the front garden. Next thing I know two workmen turn up at the front door and ask me where I want the guinea pig buried. DS had seen the guys out there earlier and, in his defense, I had taken them a brew so he said he wasn't really talking to strangers. It took them half an hour to dig a grave....bless them.

Picked DD up from school. She was so upset but also glad GP wasn't suffering. Then i got a phone call from the vetinary nurse telling me not to go in and pay because they'd had a whip round and paid between them as they knew it was DD's GP. They've also asked me to give them a ring when/if DD decides she wants more GPs as they have two little squeakers who have been abandoned and they'd like her to have them. That's me all done in.

So nice to be reminded of the lovely, lovely people out there.

oh yes pud its bad - was -17 this morning and is to be the same tonight and about -14 during the day and we still have loads and loads and loads and loads and loads and loads and loads and loads and loads of snow - i am thinking of hibernating:eek:

vanilla (((hugs))) that sister of yours needs a kick to get looking for a job - but what she has done regarding the loan is worrying and 'criminal' -as Kaz said - it is fraud - the trouble is if it came out you would be dragged in as well and IMHO you would be hard pressed to prove that you didnt know about it - they would assume that as she is your sister then you were in on the fraud - she needs to get this sorted and pronto - it would ruin your life in all sorts of ways if you were convicted for it. can she not register as unemployed - I know she jacked in her job so wouldnt get job seekers but might get something and she would maybe be able to apply for a social fund loan and that could pay off the other loan? No matter how stubborn she is this needs sorted - you are involved and therefore so are your family (DH and the kids!)
What about taking matters into your own hands - I know you dont have a lot of time but it would be in your interests - could you do some phone calls and find interviews/applications for her? and if she is hanging about your house then put her to work - after all you are her employer - but dont pay her!!!!:rotfl:

Sorry to go on but this really bothers me - I am really worried for you - maybe it would be better if her husband was to find out somehow:(

jen I dont want to be a old fusspot but dont you think you should get yourself checked out - I know babies are pretty resilient inside tums but you might have cracked your pelvis or anything - please be careful honey - you have precious cargo and you dont want to have problems later (((hugs)))
Funfairprincess xxxxxx lovely to see you honeyxxxxxxx well done to hubby for doing the right thing but what a payment:eek::eek: get rid of the mattress and start afresh - next time pour him into a taxi!! but dont let him in a bed or on the sofa!!!! well not without a rubber sheet!

sorry not to answer other posts - this is all can manage just now,I have been advised to slow down and do is I tell all of you - babysteps!!!! but its not an easy option as I have tons to do before sunday.
