Just back from a lovely walk with the dog after I dropped DS at nursery. It was gorgeous; if anyone knows Bristol I walked around Purdown (the grounds by the big 'fairy castle' by the M32 going into Bristol). Back in now with a nice cup of coffee and choc biscuit before I get working!

Seafarers, broken record technique all the way with me too - I get this a bit with my MIL though not to your extent. Big hugs - it's hard not to blow a fuse on the phone with them isn't it.

Lisa, oh no -kids + Roses = real mess everywhere! Bless her, at least she's happy with you!

Jenagain, poor you, SPD sounds awful - luckily it was one of the few things I didn't get! Take it easy, get lifts/taxis where you can whilst it's so slippery.

Shysarah, glad your phone call went OK. Sometimes worrying about making the phone call is worse than actually doing it isn't it! Least it's done now.

Toochoosey, I hope you get your heating/hot water back soon. Least you're keeping active to keep warm and think how tidy your house is getting!

Right, best get on as coffee gone and I've only got til 3.30 until I have to fetch DS. The days whizz by.

Hmm most productive half hour. Quite happy also managed to pop a load in the wm and also a quick S&S in the kitchen.
Thinking about it my headache could well be related to my reducing the happy pills it is two days now of a reduced dose so it could well be that. Well I have taken a paracetamol anyway as it is a really heavy headache and hopefully that will ease it off a bit.

Anyway I am off to get an early lunch as I am hungry.

Hubby contacted CAB and they say the loan is nothing to do with us and that we won't get into any trouble or have to pay it ourselves. It's her mess and she will have to sort it.

Sockdrawer your right, this is the fourth time she's done this and each time she's lost the house they have been renting and leaves oweing loads of rent. She just really doesn't care and i honestly can see her hubby leaving this time or at least going mad. I sat the last time ringing all the companies for jobs and even done her cv while she played on facebook. I've lent money which has never been paid back so i've stopped that now. It's up to her to face up to it now but i feel a rather crap christmas being had.

Flying wise clean clothes all put away. Teacher pressies are ready to be wrapped, boys and dd tiding their rooms. One box of rubbish sorted through.

Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

Hi, I am partly following the thread and partly doing my own thing.

    Today's plan is to;
Sort paperwork, at least an hour over the afternoon
Search out Christmas cards bought last year. I can't remember where I put them.

Get DS1 and DH to move spare mattresses so we can accommodate DB2 on Friday.
Write shopping list for tomorrow (Christmas shopping)
    Phone DS1's uni

Mudbath I am planning some serious flying too as I may be out tomorrow and Friday, not sure when the road will be open to get out!! I will see what I can get done today.

Kaz Take care and Happy Christmas!!
