I've been cleaning my RofD aka DH's office. Stupidly dusted/wiped the room and then decided to clean the wooden Venetian blinds.
Used the sheep on a stick which worked to a point but created a fog of dust in the entire room. Now wiping them by hand and cleaning the bay windows at the time - huge Georgian affairs so not a job for the faint hearted (or asthmatic).
Managed to break the internet connection whilst in the process of doing all of this and spend 30 minutes sorting it out.
Chicken casserole cooking. Off to do another blind before doing an early dinner for DS3 as he has his play but I need to feed him before I go to DS1's PTI. After being at the school the last two nights on Governor duties and in the primary for school play on Monday I'm starting to feel I'm in school as much as the kids this week. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Another good day today
. My bedroom has never looked so tidy (well not since last time I was flying with you all
), odds and ends have been done and I've even made a phone call I've been putting off for ages. Just got back from getting a few more presents for the kids (it's DS's birthday 6 days before Christmas Day) and feel like things are more under control but do need to make a list of what I actually have!
Just about to go and pick up DD from school; she's doing Art Club. DS planted on the potty so need to remove him and get going! See you later xFlymarkeeteer: £168 and counting0 -
Well, I've had a hoot this evening.. one of the chavvy brats in DD3's class said to her 'My mum feels sorry for you having your mum for your mum' .. PMSL.. if only she knew the half of it.. I offered to loan DD3 to her for a bit see how she likes her.. might do a swap.. DD3 steals money and food (all food not just sweets.. it isn't classed as steaing if it is getting bread, proper food or drinks but when you eat cake decorations or trifle fingers or the last slice of your sisters birthday cake it is, or stuff put away for a party or christmas, or hide a full box of cereal so you don't have to share), she is NEVER happy, not ever, she whines over every single meal she gets, even before she knows what she is geting sometimes! She has the bedwetting issue and has started puberty but given she is 9 cannot handle the emotional upheaval going on.. it is a nightmare!!!!!!!
Which raises a question.. if she is still bedwetting when she starts her periods what does she use? Just the nappy, a pad in the nappy? *confused*
Done today
WM x2
TD x2
DW x2 and a clean cycle *polishes halo*
Folded 3 loads of towels but have 3 baskets and a dryer full still to do!
DD1 posting some ebeast parcels now they are actually being collected from the PO again!
Sorted a couple of christmas presents for my mother.. We can't decide whether she should give Jacob the coat OR get him a pram and baby.. he loves the ones at nursery.
DS3's report makes an intereting read...

I've nearly got the kitchen finished here, decluttered a 20 min sleep as head and mouth sore then woke up to it being worse.
More painkillers for me and i'll finish the kitchen (i will have it lovely by 6pm) then i'll get our room done before Rhys goes to bed and when there all in bed i'll do the livingroom. Thats the plan.:rotfl:
Shouldn't take too long at the kitchen has been the dumping ground and it's nearly all gone. Hubby heading away tonight so it should be nice and peaceful and i can have a nosey through the christmas stuff.
Right on with the kitchen.

Spent all afternoon studying and decorating my friends christmas cake. Just need some colouring to do a pretty star shaped wreath like decoration and it will be done. I am seeing him this weekend so I can give it to him then.
Only problem is all this sitting around has left me soooo cold. I have the fire lit and the heating on but I think sitting studying has left me feeling cold to the bone and achey so I am going to warm up in the bath. I am sure a soak in hot water will help. The reduction process for the happy pills is kicking in the headache is back along with the shivers, aches etc.. Hopefully this will ease within a week or so though so I just need to keep going for a bit.
Seafarers - Hun u go steady moving snow/ice with your back as it is.
Might get out my christmas gifts tonight and sort them out properly.. ie little piles all over the living room floor and do some wrapping. If I can be bothered/feel warmer.

Shysarah - I am being careful with my back, ive only done approx 2-3 mins of shovelling snow today and tomorrow im going to do the same again, just little and often so i dont have a major setback again
probably wont do any tomorrow as i can now get the car out so now need to clear the rest of the snow off it so i can go shopping.
