that is ridiculous and total sour grapes. they could not possibly honour this code after this message board posted it! there are alot of people out there that would have made 100's of email addresses up so they could get all that money off.
i cannot believe that you woud prefer this company to go bust just so you can get one little bargain!Top wins - £10,000 lottery/daily mirror, £5000 asda vouchers, £1000 washing machine, 2 week canaries cruise, VIP trip to the olympics, 46" 3D TV, personal chef, kitchen aid mixer, £1000 tesco vouchers - latest prize £10,000 road trip with kit Kat0 -

If they couldn't afford to honour it, why offer it? If they could only afford to honour it for say 100 new customers, then say that it is for the first 100 customers on their website, and set the code accordingly.

No-one wants this 16 shop chain store to go bust, just to honour their own terms and conditions. I very much doubt that even a few thousand £10 offs would make a huge dent in the profits from the 16 stores and website. This is not a tiny family business running out of someones back room, but a country wide chain store with 16 shops and a strong online presence.
Why does every one persist in saying that they are a tiny family run shop on the brink of going bust? I bet you their profits in one day are many times more than most of our salaries in one year!0 -
looks like some nice stuff on their site.
Signed up for the tenner off and hope what I want will be back in stock soon.
Thanks OP.Owned by a Great Dane :heartsmil

OMG...considering virtually everything that is or was £15 is outta stock why is there still an argument. They changed the goal posts so they could get the postage glitch sorted.....over, done with, move on to next subject, like...where's the next glitch gonna be?????

Just a heads up for people that dont like to gift wrap though, my DH likes this company because things come so well wrapped he never needs to!Free/impartial debt advice: Consumer Credit Counselling Service (CCCS) | National Debtline | Find your local CAB0 -
Looks like I missed out on this one too, I signed up for the email and as the necklace I liked was out of stock , and I had until January to use the voucher I thought I'd wait and see if it came back in stock.
As another poster said, I hope once the free postage weekend is past they will reinstate the original t&cs of the voucher and I will get my necklace!
To those who got their's well done, and here's:beer: to finding the next deal!
It's only a game

Nobody owes us anything - we come on here and if we're lucky we sometimes get something for next to nothing - but sometimes we don't pull it off!
I was unlucky with the laredoute glitch - but my friends got a bargain out of it, que sera sera, no point getting upset about it;)
If you did actually get a personal email with this offer from Hiho, why don't you email them back explaining and they may honour the deal? obviously they can't keep giving EVERYONE this deal indefinately.0 -
These so called chain stores are a few feet from back to front, the one in town is soo small it doesn't even have a toilet so the lady closes to use the loo next door. You are talking about an extremely small chain of shops run by a brother and sister.Too many children, too little time!!!

So have you visited each of the 16 stores? They are all like this? And for what it's worth, we also own a shop with no toilet facilities. Means nowt!0 -
I cannot believe how niave some people are! This whole process for this company has probably just given them profits far exceeding what they would normaly do due to this and other sites! As the press say all press is good press, just look at the free advert, the thousands that actually view this every day! I would say on this thread alone there is more good than bad press but I would also like to say that bad press also attracts attention, usually more than the good!
This company is not that stupid as to offer something they cannot afford, they would have looked up their profit margin and realised that with the £10 off a £15 spend they would still be in profit enough to offer the deal, they are buying silver from Mexico which I know for a fact is extremely cheap over there! The issue with this has been the free carraige, this means in their terms that they are giving the customer a further £2.75 (think that is what carraige was?) off which means that it takes them into a negative, so why not just take away the free carriage until the emails that had already been sent out were honoured? Those of you who think they are going to be reducing the goalposts after the free carraige may have a very long wait, I doubt very much that is going to happen as the owner clearly stated that they did not expect demand to be so high and therefor have changed the minimum to £25.0
