Definitely. I got my first outright refusal just this Monday but even then it was delivered in a 'not 'avin a go at you luv' sort of way.

I just went to see my co-ordinator who I get on with exceedingly well, as I had some dummy forms for him to register, he gave me my new sheets and said that if I didn't want to attend tomorrow's meeting then I didn't have to - I like the sound of that!!
Bearing in mind I'm a 37 hour collector, my co-ordinator said to me "I doubt you'll get any of these, but just try where you think you'll be lucky", I've only got about 80 addresses in total, they've all had dummies now so it's just a case of doing the 80 houses each day lol, I could do that with my eyes shut and I can get round these 80 properties in less than 2 hours, so happy days!!!

Does everyones contract end on may 13th?

I finish on May 6th, but I think we get a week's holiday pay at the end of that, so I'm guessing technically I finish on the 13th too. I didn't take a copy of my contract when it came through so I can't check it now. Seems funny we're getting a week's holiday money after only a month, but I'm more than happy!!

It say's we are employed for 5.43 weeks

yeah, contract officially runs to 13 may.

this dummy form business is all a bit fuzzy. plus the claiming for full hours even though we all know we've not done them. oh well. in 10 days time who cares?

we should get about 2 days or so pay (so bunch your hours!) we might get a bit more for bank holidays

What do you mean we should get two days or so pay?

We don't get payed any extra for bank holidays.

That's one of the things that makes this job brilliant. Enjoy it, it's not every day you get to work in a job whereby you work less than you're contracted to but still get paid the rates. As long as the work's getting done they're happy. Lord knows they can afford it!

My friend whom I told way back in November about this is kicking herself :mad:for not applying.
