Uh oh..has anyone else heard? Apparently Lulzsec has hacked the census. *Opens up bag of popcorn and sits back*
They are denying it saying someone posted as them.

Anyone know if there are going to be any further jobs available with the Census? I was an Enumerator in Scotland from February to April but wasn't considered for the Coverage Questionaires after that. Just curious if they'll be hiring people to do anything with the data or is it all computerised from here on in?0

Does anyone have any idea how many households have refused to fill in the census yet?I consider myself to be a male feminist. Is that allowed?0

Just going through my old posts
What a struggle that was the MONTHS after my work finished  as I had been on JSA for over a year, I applied immediately after my first two weeks, as my final two weeks were under 16 hrs.
Every time I went to the Jobcentre, I had to fill out a convoluted paper form detailing when I had income, what hours I had worked each day etc etc
This went on for at least 3 fortnightly visits maybe even 4
I foolishly expected that as I "worked" 4 weeks, I would be without Benefits for 4 weeks
That would have been too simple, because I was paid a week in arrears and I received TWO more payments of Bonus and then finally Holiday Pay, I did not get my benefits restarted until the end of week 6 from the start of my 4 weeks working
Even this took a struggle on the phone trying to explain to the "Advisor" on the phone that I was now NOT WORKING
With the short hours worked, plus the reduction in Housing Benefit and the delay in restarting on benefits, I reckon I ended up working for about £3.50 an hour
Even after getting two payments back on track, I then attended my regular JCP appt only to be told my "flag" had been reset and the system was showing I was working part-time again
That same day I spent hours on the phone/waiting to be finally told all was ok and my payment would come through ...... payment day comes and goes ...... oh !!!!!! , more time at the JCP office and finally I get a payment after pleading poverty etc etc which was not far from the truth.

Does anyone know whether you would be expected to be available to work on the bank holidays?0

Are you possibly writing from some of time warp in an alternative universe because back here on Planet Earth in the standard time dimension the Census was finished and completed over a year ago.:eek:0
