Of course you are. You're the worst example of a troll I've seen in many months. Do try harder dear.

That's because I am not an example of a troll, just someone who's voiced an opposing opinion.

Just returned from my routes and starting earlier paid off. I managed to get 3 HD1s off previously difficult to contact HH at the usual times. Job well done. My preferred method, if they are pliable enough is to offer to hang around and take the form off them to save me bugging them for the next few weeks. Works most times.

I love it when a plan comes together!

Can you translate some of these codes CCBCCC. Also what is the maximum number of visits you make to a property in this phase when someone is simply never at home when you call rather than opening the door and telling you to get lost etc.

I notice that these Collector cards do not appear to state the time and date on which a Collector has visited a property.

At least the weather's still nice and they're paying us eh?

Exactly: Weekly pay? Check. Great weather? Check. Meeting and chatting with (new) people? Check? Bonus at the end of the gig? Check.

    What's not to like?

Well today's addresses I've been trying since last week when my coord gave me the new ED last Wednesday.

It depends, if I get a naff off, I do a soft refusal but not the X: sometimes it's the wrong time of day or sometimes I get a friendlier H member on a different day. It all depends. So far I've only done one X when the HH was very vocal and clearly drunk. Sorry I'm loving this gig but not THAT much!

However we will start to write Dummy Q as of Saturday I think, but I'm still trying to squeeze some more existing questionnaires or RQ from HH before I take the Dummy route!

No but I tend to personalise them myself by putting the flat number (if it's a house with several flats) with the time and date so there's no confusion.

Lastly out of interest can anyone tell me what the next step is once a Collector has called at an address and left a card three times?

    Nope, once is enough.

Can you explain the purpose of a "Dummy" census return? Surely the objective is to get the householder to complete their questionnaire?

Yes, I am. Although I'm not a collector at the moment. I have my training next Wednesday and start on the 9th May. My recruitment process has been pretty good to be fair. I waited 5 weeks instead of the 2/3 I was told after my telephone interview but everything else has been pretty good.

    Congrats. Enjoy.

    When did that happen?

Yep, that's why I'm reluctant to start writing them. Dummy's are for vacant, holiday homes, second homes, absent HH etc or as a last resort to hostile HH.
