None - I think...although technically most sellers pass on the cost anyway so...technically, we're charged listing fee's etc etc. That's why I generally find lower cost items elsewhere. I know I would.

Soolin, unfortunately, I don't live in London, I live in Gloucestershire. Probably why I don't see constant advertisements for ebay.

Sorry I assumed because you got the Metro you were in London.

Fortunately the Metro has spread far and wide ^_^ and I'm glad otherwise Nemi would be almost out of reach.

oh and another thing I don't like about ebay, is it's reputation and public image. Maybe it all goes downhill?

What I'd like to see is how socially responsible is this auction website going to be?

Can you show me these figures then please?
    :D

Ummm - every three months ebay release their own figures, you mean you haven't been looking at them already?
You quote good old Duncan here. Did you know he started with an ice cream van?? Bought Care homes, lost a million, started health clubs, bought a casino.. LOL

Yes I do know, and I also know that he knows his markets very well, and where his income flows stem from, and not to be single-mindedly blinkered by an idea. You could do with learning a bit from him.

What started out as quite a promising thread really has descended into chaos. You should have quit while you were ahead, taken in lots of what people have said and suggested, taken some time to digest and work on this material, then come back in a few weeks/months with a focused and credible product.

Instead you have just made yourself appear very amatuer, argumentative, unprofessional, and unresponsive to ideas and constructive criticism. I could have a lot of fun ripping this all apart further, but to be honest, it is eating into my Gran Turismo 5 time.

No doubt you will have some "smart" comeback for this that will only reinforce the points I've made.

Good luck with the path you choose and decisions you make.

Quite right..our streets are paved with gold you know and our lifestyle idyllic. Oh, wait, hang on a moment i think i must have just slipped into a parallel world there for a moment :rotfl:

BTW, I had a buyer contact me from Glasgow today to say her item had just turned up and asking me how i managed to get a postman to deliver it to her on a Sunday. I'm obviously special.

Eh? Dont know where you get that from. I have taken all the advice that has been said and i have it on my A4 pad. I then look at that and see if there are any Pros to the suggestion. If not i bin it.
And i cannot see a good enough reason to alter the way i have it. I didnt expaect to start this thread and everyone to aggree with me. i knew there would be haters of it. But i am getting feedback, even if it is bad.

Yeah i did learn alot from Duncan,Peter,Theo,James,Richard B. Funnily enough they all stated out with nothing.Took massive risks. Some failed some didnt. And thats what i am doing. Taking a risk.
Im not into smart comebacks i am just answering the questions or suggetions put to me.

But thanks for the support and last comment. All i say is give me time.:D

They've probably started doing sundays up there due to Christmas, although Royal Mail specifically state

"We do not off guaranteed delivery on Saturdays, or deliver on Sundays.."

So if they are it's likely due to an overtime commitment.

    *reference to an earlier post*
