I might as well send God an invoice.
I am out one pair of Dune shoe boots, one pair of Carvela Mary Janes and a pair of nude, ruched faith platforms. None of which I have worn.
Which adds insult to injury.
Actually I like the idea of sending her a bill. The nasty cow.
I do not see why my cousin riding off into the sunset with a farmers daughter is my fault
Even the brat is furious is with meRetail is the only therapy that works0 -

wageslave....weren't you just calling someone a doormat? why the hell have people that treat you like this in your life?? Perhaps don't let the girls see you treated so...you are their heroine..
Did the brat want the shoes too:D0 -

I've no idea what you are talking about, but surely the ideal solution is to let your cousin take the old shoes, and then secretly fork out money and buy an even better looking pair of shoes for christmas, keeping it quiet from your family.
Mmmmm.... wageslave's cousin didn't explain when he was choosing between two women that one of them was not from the same group that her family would approve of, so she's getting it in the ear for helping him out because the decision went, in their eyes, the wrong way. Wageslave can't be at fault though because she didn't know. However she has had to give up some of her shoes as penance. For us there is no such thing as old shoes because we have so many pairs, only new ones that have been gently worn:o.
Is that a fair round-up ws?Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

Unless wageslave packed his clothes and drove hi to the girl it was his decision. In fact...why was he even asking her? Family stuff?
The world changes and even barriers so old as to feel genetic are being slowly and thankfully broken down.0 -
I have had a dreadful night.
I have had a cousin round going through my shoe cupboard and berating me as she set boxes to the side.
I have been screeching, noooooooo, you are not having those as I mounted a pitiful defense against the combined might of my family
She said "fu cking hell wageslave how many shoes do you have?"
At one point, and I am ashamed to admit it, we were rolling on my bedroom floor over a pair of Dune shoe boots.
It seems I have fu cked up. I really didn't mean to and I dont see how parting with three pairs of shoes makes it OK.
A cousin (male) came round ages ago, he was on the horns of a romantic dilemna. He was less than honest with me, he didn't say the other one is a country girl.
I completely deny any responsibilty
Anyways, he has run off with a country girl and it is all my fault. A good family girl is devastated.
I still dont see how this should cost me three pairs of shoes
My cousins are like piranhas
Shoes. They're things one needs, but that's it. I actually struggle to find any that fit to be honest.0 -

That's like a foreign language to me....all I know is Clarkes, Shoe Zone and market stall!
Can you tell that shoes come very low down on my priority list :rotfl:We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.

Well that looks a bit of alright doesn't it. Nice that the kids get to use the garden too, with the football nets,.. and not just all kept immaculate for a 'show garden'. Even better if that 'shed' at the bottom of the garden is yours, and not the neighbours behind you. Looks like a log cabin type small house. Also; nice winter scene pic. What made those tracks at the right?
The tracks are from the squirrel. It generally tries to get at anything dropping from the bird feeder and then scurries away between the decking and the fir trees.
Summer house is ours too. Only get to see the neighbours house in the winter, enough greenery in Summer to block it out.
It was the garden that sold us the house, saw it on rightmove and it made us investigate further.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. Actually I suspect the brat is furious a cousin is away on her toes with a very nice pair of shoe boots.
I did try to stop her
I am ok with violence really
I !!!!ed up LIR, I do see where they are coming up, although the shoe thing is just them being !!!!!!. I love that word.
My cousin came round ages ago, two girls he really liked
Looking back, he set me up.
He has run off and left a note, wageslave thinks this is my best choice
Oh ta. Even the brat has been on the phone saying mum how could you. A really nice family girl is heartbroken and a cousin has made of with a slapper
I hate families.

Actually I find it a bit upsetting, not just because its shoes :smileyheabut because it sounds a bit like selling people...slavery with a currency of shoes.
It reminds me of a lot of people I don't associate with any more in fact.0
