I might as well send God an invoice.

I am out one pair of Dune shoe boots, one pair of Carvela Mary Janes and a pair of nude, ruched faith platforms. None of which I have worn.

Which adds insult to injury.

Actually I like the idea of sending her a bill. The nasty cow.

I do not see why my cousin riding off into the sunset with a farmers daughter is my fault

wageslave....weren't you just calling someone a doormat? why the hell have people that treat you like this in your life?? Perhaps don't let the girls see you treated so...you are their heroine..

Mmmmm.... wageslave's cousin didn't explain when he was choosing between two women that one of them was not from the same group that her family would approve of, so she's getting it in the ear for helping him out because the decision went, in their eyes, the wrong way. Wageslave can't be at fault though because she didn't know. However she has had to give up some of her shoes as penance. For us there is no such thing as old shoes because we have so many pairs, only new ones that have been gently worn:o.

Is that a fair round-up ws?

Unless wageslave packed his clothes and drove hi to the girl it was his decision. In fact...why was he even asking her? Family stuff?

The world changes and even barriers so old as to feel genetic are being slowly and thankfully broken down.

Anyways, he has run off with a country girl and it is all my fault. A good family girl is devastated.

Shoes. They're things one needs, but that's it. I actually struggle to find any that fit to be honest.

That's like a foreign language to me....all I know is Clarkes, Shoe Zone and market stall!

The tracks are from the squirrel. It generally tries to get at anything dropping from the bird feeder and then scurries away between the decking and the fir trees.

Summer house is ours too. Only get to see the neighbours house in the winter, enough greenery in Summer to block it out.

It was the garden that sold us the house, saw it on rightmove and it made us investigate further.

Actually I find it a bit upsetting, not just because its shoes :smileyheabut because it sounds a bit like selling people...slavery with a currency of shoes.

It reminds me of a lot of people I don't associate with any more in fact.
