    Oooh exciting. What radio station?

Erm, no idea to be honest, an internet only one really, the person I talk to every night via msn (on a microphone) is a DJ and he is having me as his guest

I'm there for the scathing remarks.....:D
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

Why has my laptop and the microwave (and we are talking 250 quid LG halogen not 40 quid argos jobbie) both stopped working today?

Microwave looks like it may need a new turntable motor (or spindle at any rate) and laptop it appears to have a bad sector in the hard drive at some vital point in the boot - anyone reckon it would be possible to boot in to something that would let me run a scan disk and hopefully fix the boot error? Then may be I could get a new hard drive and clone the existing one as a longer term fix...

Can I get FF4 to have a status bar at the bottom again move the tabs back underneath the address bar?

    Edit:

Since my reduction in income when I have been trying to spend less:
Both cars have stopped working very expensively, one has been crashed in to, the bath shower screen has broken, the washing machine broke and now today the laptop (5+ years old) and the microwave have stopped working...
...how does that all work then?

Do you need to replace the microwaveurgently? we don't have one at all, (the only time I regret it is when the dog food is taking 24 hours to defrost in winter(when I have to take three portions out of the freezer at a tie, not one or two) and when we fancy popcorn. Making popcorn on the hob IS more fun and kind of nicer feeling, and the dogs' food gets soaked in warm water. Oh, and rice the microwave makes nice rice.

if you need one urgently can I suggest a red cross furniture shop? Ours in local town has huge numbers of them in various sizes and the grilly thingy ones too. and tvs.

Firefox for me too. The variety of add-ons being the decisive factor. No-script, better privacy, Adblock plus to mention a few. An interesting pictorial guide to browsers http://www.sharenator.com/If_browsers_were_women/

    sorry ladies - I couldn't find a male equivalent.

The picture of the girl next to Chrome is scary. Did she really do that to herself?
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

    Personally, I detest eurovision.

I'm really confused by the name - vision means something you see, yet it is about music. (confused smiley).
When did it become acceptable to (I) to eat burger king on the train; (II) let your dog sit on the seat on a train; and (III) conduct telephone conversations by speakerphone in the bleeding quiet carriage. I think I prefer the packed train home at 7pm!

Since everyone in the world decided manners no longer exist & the whole world revolves around them. I don't have much of an issue with (I), but (II) & (III) are not on really. It is like getting on a bus nowadays - with all the blimmin phones with awful music coming out of really tinny speakers (which makes the drivel sound worse). I mean, since when were nightclubs quieter than bus journeys? I wish I could do the vulcan death grip:

It wouldn't be the same without the occasional scrap although I don't really like serious debate/arguments, especially on things where things are subjective, like the families board. I like to 'like' things as the board is so busy, people are already saying things I've thought.

I got called Boozergirl last night. That's a first. It's usually Dozygirl when people resort to name calling. I don't think they realise I don't have blue hair or even a dressing gown this nice in real life. I've just realised I've lost my hard hat! When did I do that?

Do people go as low as name calling? On an interweb forum? :rotfl:
Not happened to me. I think chucky might have played around with my name, but I think/hope he is sarcastically pointing out that others are taking stuff way too seriously, or are so one sided it isn't true.

I'm off to see John Cleese on his alimony tour tonight. Reviews have been, erm, "lukewarm" at best.
It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.

One I can switch off too....is the guy who eats whole cloves of raw garlic off the bulb still using the northern line? I'd rather sit on a chair used by a dog than some of the people I see sitting n them. I wouldn't let my dog sit on a seat I don't think (my dogs don't use public transport) If it was a crowded train and the corridors were busy it probaby would be a better place to put one though...out of peoples way, but wouldn't want to leave dog hair on the seats.

The thing I HATE is music that I can hear out of people's headphones. Even when I like the music. I just HATE it.
