I now mostly use Firefox, although it's slow and annoying, because I have so many plug-ins for it that I like. e.g. PropertyBee and Greasemonkey/Chimp for houseprices.co.uk. I've got the Chrome equivalent of PropertyBee, but that's not so clear to see where the price drops are.0

Firefox for me too. The variety of add-ons being the decisive factor. No-script, better privacy, Adblock plus to mention a few. An interesting pictorial guide to browsers http://www.sharenator.com/If_browsers_were_women/
sorry ladies - I couldn't find a male equivalent.0 -
I just deleted a post. It felt brilliant. My feeling always has been if you start to get frustrated by the discussion its time to step back. So I did. It seems to me besides circular discussions there are increasing numbers of trolls on MSE atm. On the Marriage/family board noticeably.
If I weren't crook this week it would be time for a time out I think.0 -
I don't get it why Chrome is a Google product but you can't get the Google toolbar for it (or couldn't last time I looked). I use FF for general browsing because I like having the search box right there at the top of the page so that it will open a new tab when I search for something (including image or product or whatever searches), and I like being able to highlight the terms I've got in the search box - haven't found out if Chrome can be made to do that. But I use Chrome for a couple of sites, and I even use IE sometimes - mainly for streaming video because I find it crashes less often than FF, but certainly not for anything where I want to open multiple tabs because it's too slow.
The address bar is also your google search bar.
That's one of the things I love about chrome. Just start typing in the address bar and it works out if you are doing a search or are typing a web address.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. I like this aspect. My DW uses chrome to surf - is there a no-script type add-in for chrome? I dislike the idea of unnecessary scripts running in the background.0 -

Eurovision semi-final night. I love it. Globalised pop
What? I missed it? Cr&p!!!! We have eurovision night every year. DH and I score every country on a number of important measures, such as quantity and quality of mullets, indecipherability of lyrics, use of mummy's dressing up box, gaydar activation and strangest props. We also score on how good the tunes are. I rather liked the Norwegian one a couple of years ago. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

The posts that actually make it live are the rare ones for me, I start so many, let it all out and then look at it and decide silence is better so just come out of the screen without pressing post.
Makes me feel better for writing it all out though.....We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0 -
