There's a list of canapes on there. Are canapes just "nibbles while you're waiting for the main meal", or was that all the guests got? 10,000 of them, divided by 650 guests - that's 15 each.

15's a lot isn't it, so that must be all they got. I doubt even I could shovel 15 and not be bloated.

I've never had/seen a canape, but I imagine they'd be the size of a small jam tart or mini sausage roll.

Canapes are nibbles you're right. You get them if you are waiting for the main meal....of you are invited to the main meal. Or they get served with drinks at things where no meal is served too. I bet they were ravenous, especially the ones who'd had to turn up really early for the ceremony.

Wouldn't they have had a good breakfast first though ... I know I would. All that hanging about to do and god knows what/when you'd be fed. I'd also have an emergency stash of cereal bars in my handbag.

That is because you are sensible. I probably wouldn't have eaten. would have spent the ceremony with cross legs needing a widdle and with my stomach rumbling. I love the idea of you starting to munch a cereal bar. Right next to the cartwheeling verger.

Not even on the caravan parks? What about in town near bedsit land?

I think there are 3-4 round town here somewhere. Bedsits, studio flats and a lot of 1-bed flats don't have (or have room for) a washing machine.

There is one on one of the parks but you have to be sneaky as it is only supposed to be for the residents of the site...they even have a coded door!

And nope none in bedsit land...there used to be two but both have closed in the last couple of years.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

Sue - phone some repairers and get one to agree to fix it for £50 cash. I will sub you the money and you can pay me back at the weekly rental cost.
    I think....

Maybe that's an opportunity for you to make money. I bet you can negotiate a good rent right now.
