Yes you can pretty much....very handy it is too.

Re reconditioned ones, I need a particularly hardy one which can take very large loads as the bedding needs to be washed very frequently and frequent change of clothes (bowel issues for two of them) and they are very very difficult to find in good condition, if you can find them in the first place.

I've not given up looking on Freecycle or in the local newspaper though.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

Don't discount them :)...I had one for a while, left it wear I was living, but it was good. while I don't have kids dog washing/horse stuff has always gone in my machines.

Current WM is parents old machine which they used just for dog washing. I use it for everything, with rinses inbetween dogs and our stuff. I dead it dying.

I can't believe Lancashire didn't win the cricket today icon8.gif one interesting comment in the match report.
Amjad Khan fell for the addition of just three more runs but Pakistan-born Arif, who is English qualified because of his Danish wife, made a maiden century in only his second Championship game, adding an unbeaten 90 for the last wicket with Monty Panesar.

Oh I have not discounted them but I do need a large capacity machine otherwise it would work out way too expensive because of having to do extra washes (do enough as it is already!) and very awkward as no other way to fit the quilts etc in and get them clean.

Ahh, yes, I get you. Yes, big capacity machines are important in your situation (me too....for fitting horse rugs and vast quantities of dog bedding).

I wouldn't say mine gives the most reliable wash but its been long lasting machine with no breakdown, and for that I love it.

I'm just watching the BBC 6 o'clock News.

Fiona Bruce is as !!!!ed as a parrot.

    Funny, but also embarrassing

Just hope we are near the end of all the royal wedding waffle on tv.

Laundry prices? We don't have a launderette within 40 miles!
Not even on the caravan parks? What about in town near bedsit land?

I think there are 3-4 round town here somewhere. Bedsits, studio flats and a lot of 1-bed flats don't have (or have room for) a washing machine.

You could put the question of the cheapest way to buy a particular washing machine into the "Wanna Buy It" board, see if anybody can come up with a combination of vouchers, cashback and a sale currently going on.... and make one of the criteria "must also offer credit/monthly payments". I mean, all those catalogues that are out there do weekly payments, which'd be cheaper than renting one.

There's an electrical shop round my way that's gone under yesterday/today. 5-6 shops, 49 years in business, bunch of staff.... having a stock clearance. Might be others offloading stock. http://www.etselectrical.co.uk

apologies for source but they are good photos of the very beautiful cake.

Obviously, this is mainly for Viva, Sue and misskool and silvercar.

Silvercar, the best thing was the trees...exquisite, such a breath of fresh air, and the cake is beautiful. The other best thing were them both, especially him, looking giggly, genuinely delighted, in love...little details like his thumb stroking her hand that he held in the landau back to the shindig.
