Have you posted on Pepipoo forum?
I can't even see the point of appealing with these people if they will invoice you for a ticket being upside down. It's likely to be fruitless as a) they have no morals and b)they know at that point that they've got you at least partially convinced that they are somehow legitimate. They are not legitimate.
They won't take you to court because they know they have no place in law to request money from you. But they are known to work harder on the people that respond to them.
Please post on Pepipoo for a bit more moral support if you haven't already.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

It just makes me feel so wretched
Parking's so hard these days... and so ruthless. Little errors are pounced on by little Hitlers, when there was no intent/malice involved in erroneously leaving one's vehicle.
It's not like I deliberately drove into a restricted and limited parking area, grabbing the last spot, before sneaking off to do things I had no business doing while parked there.0 -

Struggling to register at Pepipoo.
Registered... email came, I clicked, it wouldn't log me in, said I didn't exist.
Then I spotted a verification code, so I pasted that/etc into the right boxes.
Still couldn't log in.
So next I clicked on "forgot password" and it sent me a new email. I copied the new password, clicked their link of where to log in - still no joy, still says I don't exist.
Meanwhile, another email's come - my Welcome email ... which I can't read as I can't log in because it refuses to accept my login details.
I'm just going round in circles with it.0 -

- They reserve the right to clamp/remove any vehicle ... if found to re-offend.
And also it says: "... not paid within the given time will be passed to our debt recovery agent, where you may incur additional charges"
And "We reserve the right to contact the DVLA in order to obtain vehicle keeper details if the ticket remains unpaid".
Okay, it's a private car park, so you're in the clear PN. What happens is:
1. You don't pay.
2. You receive a demand for payment - they get the registered keeper's address for the car from DVLA.
3. You ignore that.
4. They rant and rave, and you ignore that. They send you more letters that you ignore.
5. They go away.
You see, the point is that the owner of the car is not liable, and it's the driver of the car at the time who is liable. Of course, they have no way of knowing who was driving, and you at no stage will tell them. They are most unlikely to issue proceedings, but if they do come back and discuss it, and I'll tell you how to get it struck out before the hearing.
Umm, please see my sig, though. No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -

Then it shows me to be a liar.
They photoshopped the images to remove the ticket? I'm only pointing out what some other people would do. Anyway, see my other posting and don't tell them you were the driver. No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -

A site of which I have to say I am not a fan of and would like to see it close its doors as I believe they have a twisted one-sided agenda of turning FTBers away from owning their own dream house. Anyway it seems quite nice and pleasant in here. Are there any characters to be aware of? Thanks.

Still can't make headway with Pepipoo. Trying everything.... even tried registering again but it says the name's taken - yet when I try to get a password reminder sent it says there's no such user.
Tried to register again, but it knows my email address. CBA to use another one because I only use one these days.
Just tried their "lost password" form again, inputting my email address. Received an email, had to do a captcha form, now awaiting another email.0 -
I once got a ticket in our station car park. I was livid because the nearest ticket machine was out of order so I had walked to a further one to get the ticket and had displayed it. My ticket had a 14 day appeal thingy on the back, so I sent it back with the ticket.
Then I revisited the car park and realised that area of the car park had been marked parking season ticket holders only and the ticket machine deliberately switched off as that area was for season ticket holders only. Got home to find my appeal had been successful with a reminder to make sure my ticket is displayed in future. On closer examination my ticket was for failing to display a season ticket, not failing to display a ticket.
So either the appeal staff weren't concentrating or displaying a ticket in a season ticket area is legally OK.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards.
