Me neither.... they must all have secret information.
I've no idea what the situation/problem was either.

But ... I do have sweeties, so I'm not bothered.

Yeah, I've done some reading between the lines. It's a bit like a secret society. ;)

I heard that one of the UK mobile phone companies is making a big effort to help out in Japan. They are shipping over nearly 1 million free ring tones.

    Bad taste, c'est moi.
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

A thread got pulled earlier - thankfully - by a conspiracy theorist suggesting that the earthquake was not a natural disaster but the result of a US scientific project.

They used to say you know you're getting old when the policemen are younger than you.

I'm starting to think you know you are getting old when you notice that kids that don't learn science at school think they are learning a rational subject from YouTube videos and X Men movies. Be afraid, very afraid. They are no doubt the Media Studies students of the future...

    Minging sweeties it turns out.

Some "back to nostalgia" range at Asda, 48p a bag I think. Rhubarb/custard and black jacks - but now how they used to be. They're bags of gummy stuff, that taste a bit like the real McCoy, but not. Won't buy them again; I don't recommend them.

However, I also have three bigger bags of own brand Mars bars, milky ways and twix' £1 for a big fattening bag.

Trouble is, if you don't like them, but they're edible and 'just there' they tend to still all get wolfed down.

I've got the opposite problem. In laws brought some 'laces' type sour things, that taste gross the UK, back from Portugal for DD. In desperation the other night I thought I'd have one, except they're totally gorgeous!

DD even notices yesterday that one had gone. Told me not to have another except I just did and I can't exactly replace it easily. I'm such a bad mother...

Sour laces - yuk. and such stupid flavours. But the kids love them. deli near me sells them, but I refuse to buy them.
