You don't need loo roll, so long as you have some sponges. It's what the Romans did.

    Or a left hand.

Still, I like loo roll, and its light and easy to hoard. :)

Hm... I think I will keep my loo roll.

Have spent ages today tweaking the design of my blog... not sure whether it looks ok or not.

Never heard of him, didn't know he had a place, or that it was a mansion.

What sort of squatters? Recent/because of the news, or long-standing because it's been squatted in for ages?

Saif Gaddafi - been in the news about his LSE connections. It's been squatted today by a group of Libyan activists (or maybe just a group of guys who fancied breaking into a super deluxe house and posing as do-gooders). As soon as they broke in, they phoned up all the press and the press duly turned out for them. There were loads of press there, and it's been all over the London news channels.

Off the east heath road. :)

Ah, no. You were in Hampstead. We live in what should be called East Finchley Garden Suburb. The cherry trees will be in blossom at the end of the month, which is quite a sight.

I'm gong to sound like someone else.

Our washing machine decided now was a good time to break (well on last legs with bearing failure) so finding a good deal on a new machine but now sold out in most places, drove 45 mins to Milton Keynes to buy the display model as this was the only one we could find anywhere locally.

Got it home, mucked up my back again taking the old one out and putting the new one in and then discovered that the door catch was broken :(

Not sure what to do now - back is terrible and I seriously wonder if I could get it back in the car plus the petrol and time cost of returning it and then still not having a washing machine...

    Any suggestions?

Oh and did I mention the car almost broke down on the way back, it now only has 1 gear that works (3rd) and I don't even want to think about what a new gear box will cost.

I did get a good deal - 525 for a 8kg 1600 spin machine but 170 of that was an extended warranty which I can cancel as the manufacturers are offering a free 6 year warranty via online registration but somehow that only makes it all worse as I'm sure I won;t be able to repeat the deal when I do eventually get a new washing machine.

Do we think Pobby is OK? His message seemed a bit disjointed?
    I think....

I like to ensure there's plenty.... it was a problem in the studio though as it had to be stacked in the living room/bedroom.... one room means EVERYTHING is in it. Your duvet, your tea on your lap while you're watching the telly, your sofa bed, your knickers drying, your loo roll.... everything. 9'x14' Difficult to find a place for everything, especially when you're renting as you can't knock it about a bit.

I hate designs. I used to find it was 2 minutes to register a domain, 2 minutes to install Wordpress.... then 3-4 weeks searching for hours/days, non-stop trying to find one theme that didn't suck and that worked vaguely the way I wanted it to.

I've never been happy with any of my designs.... but you have to give up poking them about at some point.

Currently using atahualpa. Something like 260 settings to get it looking right :) I think I've poked about 6 of them.
