Thanks, a lot calmer today although I am feeling it and had very little sleep.
Me and eldest did have a very good talk and he has reached the end of his tether basically, being a young carer whilst also in 6th form is not working well for him and he is very very stressed and near breaking point...he really doesn't think he can handle it all anymore.
Sue, can eldest take a week out? I know that would put extra stress on you, but it may give him just the break he needs. Perhaps stay with friends or with your brother? Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? A total break from anything sensible, but I just found a quiz the Guardian ran a couple of days ago. We all know that Col Gaddaffi is as mad as a box of frogs and that Charlie Sheen as bonkers as a rocking horse on a swing. But given they are both prone to ranting, take the test and see if you can work out who said what:

I scored 6/10 but it's pretty hard. Good luck!
5/10.:o Its a bit like sorting the bugs from the creepy crawlies in my defence.0 -
Yep, you realise what an odious pair they are, and why they both have to go.Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? I managed to talk to my mother a bit about the middle east stuff, G himself in particular, and it was interesting what she remembers other people's opinions from when she was out in Middle East were way back in the seventies..what people said etc.0 -

No idea whatsoever, so guessed.... and, to be honest, I don't even actually know who that Sheen bloke is or what he does.0 -
7/10 for me - if I was a banker I would be claiming that I had done better than the market (random result is 5/10) and demand my alpha bonus. Being more of a statistician however I will just put it down to variance - that and having seen 'Hot Shots'vivatifosi wrote: »Evening all,

Oh its so COLD again. I'm huddling under my lap top for warmth and my hands are all cold and wrinkley. But worth the cold for the sunny days IMO. Certainly. The only thing is, despite having a farm I've STILL got chicks under lamps in the house because its so cold!0

I'm thinking it is suprising how cold it is, given how it looks out there.
My desk is next to a window, & I'm looking outside, seeing lovely sunshine, blue skies, few clouds, and it actually looks very picturesque and inviting! It is masked by some fashion conscious students dropping a layer a little early in the year, so at a glance, it looks very nice out there.
Yet it is bloomin freezing, & in the shade there is still frost, even now! It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.0 -
