Last time it came up I asked if it was available to part-timers and the deputy head said no, so I was rather stuck.

Good luck and go for it. A friend of mine has just been appointed headteacher of a school as a job share. A few years ago this would have been unheard of, but she says she isn't the first part time head teacher, so times are changing.

And now you're off to make a cup of tea, right?
Get some work done, you vile lefty :)

Pah! You think I even sit down to start before I've made a cuppa?

    You don't know me...:D
It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.

Beach day again today. You might think that because there's a beach just 200 yards from me that I'd go there, but I'm after something specific .... so today was a 100 mile round trip. Full of win it was :)

I fancied a walk at 6, even though it was getting dark. My walk took me round to look at Saif Gaddafi's mansion, which is now being squatted and is besieged by the gentlemen and ladies of the press. Very nice. I could bring myself to trash the place, too, were it not for the fact that the Gaddafi assets have been frozen for the benefit of the Libyan people.
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

7/10 for me - if I was a banker I would be claiming that I had done better than the market (random result is 5/10) and demand my alpha bonus. Being more of a statistician however I will just put it down to variance - that and having seen 'Hot Shots'

You did substantially better than me. Substantially!

Never heard of him, didn't know he had a place, or that it was a mansion.

What sort of squatters? Recent/because of the news, or long-standing because it's been squatted in for ages?

I filled up today, still had 100 miles left in the tank, but as I was 50 miles from home I figured it was worth doing. £65. £65!!!! But I get home to discover that Gaddafi bloke's blown up one of his oil pipes, so it'd probably have cost me more tomorrow. It was also 3p/litre cheaper than the town where I live.

So I'm full of win (unless some ferker drains my tank tonight)

You don't need loo roll, so long as you have some sponges. It's what the Romans did.
