Fellow potters, the long-awaited day has finally arrived - I FOUND ROADKILL! A whole beautiful shiny silver 50 pence! I was so excited, I may have squealed! Thanks for giving me a go, Sparky, it was a lovely feeling! My roadkill is now safely nestled in my pot, no doubt exciting all the other coins (and a few fivers) with tales of life on the street. Roadkill rescue, that was my good deed for the day!

Another 12p in tiny change also clunked in - pot number 2 is getting heavy already!

Sparky, great news about your little four-legged friend - hope the worry is now over (shame about the bill, but you can't put a price on your little ones, can you?) Hope you're up to your roadkill-spotting best so you can get it paid off ASAP, but thanks again for leaving me a lovely find of my own!

Skilly, hope you've had a lovely day and that the drinks weren't too expensive, I know the prices at weddings can be pretty extortionate! But hey, gotta treat yourself on a special occasion, haven't you!? Hope you had a great time (but also that you didn't have to be away from beautiful baby Imogen for too long!)

Big hello to everyone else, including newbies and lurkers! Some great potting going on here in Potters Paradise - keep up the good work! x :)

    Morning Cazzie
Well done on the 50p find, I think that may have been mine you know! If it had a picture of the queen on the front then it is :rotfl::rotfl:

The little one is almost back to her mischievious self, I'm glad to report and the lucky thing is she's insured so the only sting is the excess and having to pay the bill up front :)

CazzieLT, that's a superb roadkill :T. Imagine how much you would have squealed if it was 'folding' money! :D. Think i missed out on roadkill yesterday. I was on my mobile and a young chap bent down near me and picked something off the pavement. Was kicking myself that he got it, whatever 'it' was :rotfl:. This roadkilling malarkey is addictive :rotfl:.

Mmm, it was lush Footiemad :D you would have loved it . I thought of bringing you a slice but then i remembered the 2 important Potters Paradise Rules.

Rule no 1. Do not feed cheesecake to Footiemad.
Rule no 2. Learn rule no 1 :p:D.

How's the healthy eating been going this week? Must admit my clothes are beginning to feel a little tight when i try them on :o. Could have sworn cheesecake was considered one of the '5-a-day' we're encouraged to eat :rotfl::D.

5p in the pot today. Instead of keeping a total, i'll weigh the pot in future like some other peeps do. Enjoy what's left of the weekend all .

    Morning everyone
Good news on the pup, she had another blood test yesterday and the vet gave her a clean bill of health, her liver & kidney functions are back to normal and her white blood cell count is almost back to normal. DW and I are over the moon. Thanks for all the well wishes, they were appreciated.

My usual £2 into the pot last night, plus I salvaged some coinage from DW's purse while she wasn't looking.

The overtime is back on in work, so another dent in the debt next week once I get paid. Also back on shifts as of Monday, so that will give us a boost too

Have a great day everyone, stay safe and keep saving

Great news about your dog sparky, the worst thing I always think when pets are ill, is that you can't explain to them that you are helping them :( But I'm so glad she is recovering, you must be really pleased :D

In other news, 75p for me today in silvers for my getting-a-bit-too heavy-to-lift Terramundi, and just 2p in coppers for my Jelly Baby. He still has a tummy but he is starting to look a bit thin, I must try and get more coppers to fill him back up again!!!

have a lovely rest of your Sunday everyone
