Haha Sue UU, you're not bonkers at all, you're just great at detecting bullcr*p :rotfl:. As for GO and his cronies, they'll have to find our sealed-pots first before even trying to attempt to prise them open :D. Think we should all pop mouse-traps in there to be extra safe... deter those grasping fingers :D.
Read a previous post regarding your shoulder Sue UU, hope your recovery is quick .

Good-day happy folks of Potters Paradise :D, Oh great, i've now got the choon, 'Gangsters Paradise' in my head....' been spending most our lives living in a Potters Paradise...':rotfl:

No, no, no h_Pam, you can't be singing THAT!!! :shhh: That's the song that's sung as they all troop in to the Commons! The bankers have the same anthem for them too! Think Phil Collins and at least make it 'Another day in paradise' Thinking of GO I think I'll put tiny guillotines all around my pop and have the [STRIKE]!!!!!!s [/STRIKE] blighters fingers......oh what a thought....you could even say he'd be stumped on then budget day for holding up his case!!! :rotfl::rotfl:Good to see you Pam and it's so good to see people happy about organising their finances, not to mention saving a few bob into the bargain, fantastic!

Sue x PS. Thanks so much for the good wishes, Pam, very much apprecated.

Anyone wishing to join us, just ask, you're more than welcome, and it's never too late.

Oh, Sparky, I'm so sorry, I forgot to wish your little dog well. Hope all the poor little thing needed was to have you home. Think we can forgive you for finding all the roadkill now that nasty vet bill has come your way. Hope all is well soon, and glad you had a wonderful holiday (although why anyone would want to fly away from Potters Paradise, I do not know - this is the only place on Earth where the sun is always shining!)

Sue, keep going with the rehab, you're doing great. Hopefully your therapists are setting you lots of little goals rather than leaving you feeling down at the thought of the overall goal being far away. We'll have you crafting a zoo before the potting year is out! Thinking of you always! x :)

Thanks a lot for that Cazzie, my therapist always says that with the hand we have to exercise it in the manner of 'being cruel to be kind', whereas with the shoulder she says I have to be 'kind to be kind'…..she then proceeds to almost try and frog-march me with the blessed thing to test it out  - now is that kind??! I'm sure she's simply a sadist deep down! No, in all seriousness she's a wonderful woman and has been marvellous so far and never worries about hurting the hand as..."I can't feel the pain"!!! She then laughs!

I've got my plasticine now Cazzie so I shall soon have my farm up and running, or at least the makings of a dung heap! :rotfl:Thanks a lot Cazzie.

Hi Sue-UU and everyone else! I'm a newbie to the site having just sent off my details for a DMP and think this is a fantastic idea..... I'm losing a lot of work hours going through all the various challenges but would love to sign up for this one.

Loving the community feel each thread seems to be having, who knew 'not spending' could appear to be fun!

Welcome back Sparky, sorry about your dog its awful when your pet isnt well :(

I got so caught up on the comp thread last night that I forgot to post my 55p potting yesterday . Am very upset as my friend who I directed to this wonderful site has just won tickets to watch Pirates of the Caribbean at our local cinema and isn't taking me!! especially upsetting as last month she went to the Cannes film festival and Johnny Depp stopped right in front of her in his limo, all i got was a picture of him, does she not understand that I LOVE HIM!!:smileyhea:rotfl: I'll just have to go to my 3 course champagne lunch I won instead :rotfl:

    :hello: no 992
reporting in to let you know that on having opened our pot for our april hol we had £64 in change.

was surprised as we use the credit card alot and this haul was mainly from ([STRIKE]pinching[/STRIKE] emptying hubbys car and pockets.

This money went towards the hol pot and the kids enjoyed spending it:)

I will try another pot but not being optimistic as all the money we spend is mainly on the card -
oh well there is always road kill:D

Guillotines, eh? Oh la la! God bless the French, they knew how to deal with the heartless upper-classes :rotfl:. Watch your back GO and long live the SPC Revolution :p.
'Another Day in Paradise' is good Sue UU, but i do love a cheesy song. How about, 'I've been to paradise but i've never been to me' by Charlene. And no i didn't google it and no i haven't got too much free time on my hands *cough* ;):D.

Enjoy your champagne lunch jakes-mum, :T.

Hello PP peeps  I think i've finally left my amateur roadkill status behind. Yesterday, i picked up 20p roadkill from a supermarket car-park. Noticed some peeps looking at me but didn't care :D. Didn't feel any embarrassment or anything :rotfl:. Am i now a fully-fledged SPC member :D?

Well done on saving everyone
