    Hi all,

£3.20 in silvers for me today and 3p in coppers.

13p of above was technically road kill as I was at my friends house and saw 2 5ps, a 2p and 1p on his floor (he's very messy!) and asked if he wanted them or could I put them in my pots? He took the mickey out of me for being desperate for a solid 5 minutes after, but i'll be the one laughing last with my big pot of money... mwa hahahahahahaha!

  • £23 in today !

DW's dad gave her £20 for spendies on our summer holiday next week (which is 3 days in Cambridge). But we've already budgeted for spending money while we're away so it's gone in the pot instead. Along with another £3 in change.

It is ridiculous how excited I get about us being able to put a NOTE in the pot. Small pleasures, eh ?

I have a confession to make Sue UU, I raided Mr. Tumble. There was over £90 in there just from throwing in a few pennies in here and there, so I suppose if we make an extra effort, maybe we can make it back before December :D.

Ah well nu1isit?, though it's sad you obviously needed it for the car. However, you have nearly 6 months to save and in thattime you couldeasily save another £90!!! All the best, to Mr Tumble too. ;)

ooooh poor Jake, I hope he feels a lot better now jakes-mum. Please give him a cuddle for me.

Well done Doubtful Guest, have a lovely time and remember that the small things in life, like you popping notes in the pot, are usually the sweetest...and certainly never ridiculous. Happy note collecting. :)

Good for you bargainlove, you keep right on adding as it mounts up sooner than you'd think.

Hey QRB, 2 days in a row..it's so good to have you back so soon. Keep it up. :D

A whole £5.16 in the pot as DH had to nip out to the shop and had a good deal. Along with the cash wer 2 x £2ers...I LOVE em!!! :j

Have a great day tomorrow folks and don't let the rain dampen your savings zest! :D

    Can I join in please?

I thought I would put all my loose change from my purse in the pot at the end of each week.

    So I'll start off with £4 :)
