And I'm off! The mum bought round my terramundi pot today (years old, never used it!) and I stuck £8 in it to keep me on track for my £365. :j

£6 in £2 coins into the not-so-sealed-pot.
£2.50 in 50p's into the not-so-sealed-pot.
£1.40 in other change into my Sealed Pot.
Not bad for one day. Tomorrow nothing probably!!
Quick question about terrimundi's.....
How can you open them without smashing them/get the money out? I have seen a cowprint one (which is clearly destined to be mine!!) but will never want to break it. Ever!0 -

Hello all!
I went shopping today during my lunch break to get the last few bits I needed for 2 hampers I'm doing for my stepsons. Each time I paid for something I put the change into my coat pocket, not my purse. I've just emptied my pocket into my jar (omitting the hanky, mints & shopping list!), but didn't count it. I think there must have been at least a fiver though, so am quite pleased with that.
Thank you Sue for the spelling correction!! :T I've just looked it up in my dictionary (the Chambers ) and its in there spelt both ways! It says its a colloquialism from the 1960s. I never knew that!
Anyhow, keep up the good work peeps & enjoy your evening (whats left of it) x0 -
I feel so jealous of all of you with your lovely Terramundi pots - I would love one as they look so pretty but Terracotta sets my teeth on edge and just thinkinga bout touching one gives me the shivers.Moving on up
