I have covered a large coffee jar with christmas paper (because I'm saving for next christmas). I made a hole in the lid, then covered the lid separately, and have sellotaped it on, so it's sealed but reusable iyswim.0 -
Hi all weather here seems to be getting warmer, slightly. Had a lovely day, I organise Secret Santa in work and we had our Christmas lunch today and we all got our pressie it was really lovely. Have decided I'm not putting copper in my tin but everthing else is going in. Have also decided that if I don't have any change am going to throw in at least £1 a day. I don't know why I just thought it would be a good idea. Sending Santa licious hugs. XSealed pot (2010) no: 878 £719.60 :jCompleted

I have a new sneaky plan: I've put my Tesco clubcard fob on my daddy's keys! Hopefully when he goes to Tesco he'll think it's his and use it, but I'll get the points!
I also got my nails done, and the nail place gave me an envelope as I left. I thought it would be a Christmas card, which I thought was a bit weird, but they gave me a gift certificate!
I also went to the bank to pay in some of my last year's pot money. I only take a few bags at a time as they're heavy.
And I put a bit in my potMurphy's No More Pies Club #209

We've not left the house today so no change to be had! Boooooo! But I did throw 2 x £1 coins in the teramundi this afternoon as I felt bad. I might go and dig out another £1 in a sec and put it in my sealed pot for good measure!
Happy saving campers.

I have added £7 T£sco vouchers to my tin today as I noticed they have 2years date on them!! I have however written the date they are valid until on a piece of paper and stuck it to the tin! Does this count? THink I will do this with them all year now as they have such a good date on them!
