Ah, I truly think that's so beautiful and surely is more likely to help you want to save. Good for you, Doingmybest.
Certainly far more likely to keep on re-using it again that way. I'll bet someone sees that and does the same. I'll bet your Dad will be/would be so happy about it too.
I'm not sure that he will be that pleased, having thought about it; I've got a feeling my Mum said a while ago that he'd like it back to do some more pickled onions in! I think I will have to beg one from a nice person at the chippy. Never mind, its worth it for this challenge - I needed to have a pot for my pennies didn't I??
Have been having a read - sounds like people are getting off to a flying start!0 -
I have made my 1st sealed pot payment of this thread! £1.16 safely in the jar - would have been more BUT my car is still snowed in and I still need to bus it to work this week!

Hiya Sue,
Thanks for that! We have set ourselves a target of £300 ready for next Christmas and think our number is a good omen... 1072, My birthday is the 10th and the house I grew up in (where my parents still live) is number 72!
85p already in and a rather swanky tub made from and old spagetti jar wrapped in Chrstmas paper with a picture of my boys dressed up for Christmas on the front!
Happy saving guys!

It has now found its way into my sealed tin 2011.
