Course we will Sue, although in my case it might help if I leave the house.....and phone the bank to find out why my debit card isn't working despite having plenty of money in the account. :(

You could quite possibly have a point here scuba! :D Darn clever thinking there. I'd have had to work that one out first possibly. By eck we're darn good! ;)

althought have been saving, the thread slipped my mind, as sometimes can not find it.Only remember because the thread was on the 1st page when was on the other day.Going to try and remember to come on aleast once a week for this one.

It would definitely be good if you came on more often ladsmadd, but why not bookmark it?? It's far easier then. You possibly only saw it the other night beacuse sparky & I have been bumping it up a lot so members see it - we hoped. At least it worked with you! :D

Also for the closing date try:

"Remember, remember pot ends 1st December"

    AND for the next one:

"Remember, remember pot starts 2nd December"

By my reckoning Sue between us and the rest of the SPC'ers we should be close to being ready to take over the world....

that is the ultimate aim of the thread isnt it?:silenced::whistle:
It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Where in the Highlands are you from Emiliah? I used to live in the Islands myself :D

Morning flying fresian - I'm on the west coast, near Mull.

Can't believe we're actually snow free at the moment, when I see how bad the rest of the country is.

Just off to have a rummage around in the bottom of all my bags hanging in the wardrobe, as I bet there's an assortment of change in them
  • Hiya all you lovely people,

We're taking part in the make a tenner everyday in December and saw this and thought it was a brilliant idea. Can we join pretty pretty please? I'm off to find an appropriate jar/tub and have some coppers knocking around to start me off.

What's an average sort of Target to start us off?

HI All - Bec - the average vary hugely! just save whatever you have to hand, coppers, small change or notes, I have two jars one for £1 plus notes which is sealed!! and a whiskey jar for the smaller change x

Bec if you want an idea on the savings look on the last few pages of the spc 3 thread where everybody posted their totals, also on the bottoms of some peoples signatures, and remember to save this thread so you can find it easily x

    Hi Xandersmum

    Mine's the same:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Except its about 2 years old and all split!!! Keep meaning to get a new one but DH has offered to buy me a terramundi, but I keep thinking if some burglar was to rob me it would be easy to pick it up , with mine it would probably disintergrate and spill the contents all over the floor. Also on the plus side it doesn't even have a top so can just throw the change in. Yes definately classy:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
